BEIJING, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- President of China's Xinhua News Agency Cai Mingzhao on Tuesday met with Dmitry Kiselev, general director of Russia Today International Information Agency, pledging closer cooperation between the two sides.
The leaders encouraged the integration of developing countries into the global economic governance, agreeing to explore the potential of African nations and beef up cooperation in infrastructure construction.
During the visit, China and Vietnam reached an agreement on feasibility study of the Hanoi-Lao Cai-Hai Phong Railway project in northern Vietnam, according to a joint communique issued Friday.
