She agreed, but during the drive, she says he fidgeted with his blinkers and asked her to exit the SUV to make sure they were working. In a move that reminded some people of road trips with their parents, a Delta flight turned around and went back to the gate because passengers were not complying with crew instructions.In a statement from Delta Airlines, Flight 1227 from Detroit to Atlanta on July 23 “returned to the gate following two customers who were non-compliant” with the airline's mask policy.The plane had pulled away from the gate and was still on the ground when it turned around. Delta says crew members asked the two passengers to wear a mask, and they did not.At the gate, the two passengers who did not wear a face covering were removed from the flight. Hundreds of passengers on an Amtrak train that became disconnected will have quite a story to tell around the Thanksgiving table.The Montreal to New York train was traveling near Albany, New York, at about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday when two cars separated from the engine, Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams said in a statement. Of the 287 passengers and crew, he said, no one was injured. The passengers were transferred to a new train, Abrams said.CNN reached out to Amtrak for further details but has not heard back.Billy Osher-Dugan was traveling to spend Thanksgiving with his girlfriend when he saw the cars separate."It was packed," he said. "There were hardly any seats available."He heard a noise and turned around to see cars behind him rip apart from the train, he said.
