SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 41-year-old man was jailed Thursday morning on suspicion of seriously injuring his roommate during a fight at a College Area home, police said.It happened shortly before 10:15 p.m. Wednesday at a home on College Avenue near Pontiac Street, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.The 41-year-old man and his 42-year-old male roommate got into an argument for unknown reasons and the argument turned violent, Buttle said.During the fight, the younger roommate punched the 42-year-old man several times in the head, the officer said.Officers responded to the home and took the 41-year-old man, whose name was not immediately available, into custody without incident, Buttle said.The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, he said. 829

Some of the paperwork reads, "While at work, on his Kaiser-issued computer, [he] viewed inappropriate images, including child pornography."“I didn't collect it. I didn't produce it. I didn't distribute it, but I viewed it,” he told the board during his recent hearing.Since then, Zweifach’s become an active part of the San Diego community, according to his online resumes. A 2014 La Jolla Light website article about a local puppet guild shows a photo of Zweifach as a puppeteer operating a large, red puppet.As of late July, he was listed as a board member of the San Diego Puppetry Guild’s website. The day after the guild was contacted by reporters, his name was removed.Documents outline his road to rehabilitation, like a 12-step “Sexaholics Anonymous” program and “regular therapy.”During his recent hearing, he describes having confronted whatever happened to him as a kid that apparently made him vulnerable to addiction.“I did have a history of being exposed to childhood sexual experiences that profoundly affected me,” he explains.Zweifach also told the board that he’s had two relapses with viewing adult pornography, but it stopped there.“I thank God that in the last eleven years, I’ve been entirely free of viewing the underage images that led to the loss of my license,” he adds.Zweifach has expressed a great deal of remorse for his actions.His license will officially be reinstated on Sept. 14.Zweifach will be on five years of probation which includes a number of stipulations, including not treating minors. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A blaze broke out Tuesday morning at an unoccupied Mira Mesa house being used as a preschool and caused an estimated 0,000 in damage, authorities said.The fire was reported shortly after 2:15 a.m. at a single-story on Gold Coast Drive near Westonhill Drive, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.Crews responded to the scene and found flames fueled by a gas line on the outside of the home, the agency reported.The flames spread to the garage, attic and portions of the house before firefighters knocked down the flames within 45 minutes, fire officials said. No injuries were reported and the flames did not spread to any nearby homes.Video from the scene showed firefighters cutting their way into a garage to access the house.
