Grand jury recordings of the Breonna Taylor case released on Friday reveal initial interviews police conducted with Taylor's boyfriend, Kenneth Walker."I'm scared. What are you going to do if you're at home with your family, and somebody is knocking on your door, and you don't know who it is after you've asked?" Walker defended himself when investigators questioned him later about the gun.While walking to the door, Walker said he saw the door come off the hinges."I let just let off one shot. I still can't see who it is or anything," he recounted.Attorney General Daniel Cameron has said Walker's bullet hit Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly's thigh, but Walker's attorney has disputed the fact.Walker told investigators he and Taylor dropped to the ground when police began firing, and the gun fell from his hands. When the shooting stopped, Walker said he saw Taylor bleeding near him."She's right here bleeding, and nobody's coming, and I'm just confused and scared. I feel the same right now," he said.In questioning, investigators asked Walker about his and Taylor's history with law enforcement. Walker told them Taylor's record was clean while he had recently done jail time for a DUI. As investigators pressed Walker to answer why he believed police might be at Taylor's apartment that night, he responded that he didn't know. He said he thought someone was trying to break in."As I said, I and her have no dealings with the police," Walker said. HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — An infant boy died on Friday after being left in a hot car in Hernando County, Fla., officials say.Deputies and Fire Rescue responded to the scene Friday morning in the 12000 block of Elgin Boulevard in Spring Hill just after 11 a.m. after received a call about an infant who had just been removed from a hot car.Hernando County Sheriff's Office officials say that 9-month-old Keyton O’Callaghan was rushed to a nearby Oak Hill Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 12:06 p.m. Investigators say that Keyton had been in the care of his mother, Cami Lee Moyer, 38, since Thursday night. HCSO says that the infant's father, Eric O'Callahan, 32, came home and found Keyton in the vehicle parked on the driveway in front of the home. Deputies say O'Callahan took the infant inside where he began performing CPR on the child while he was on the phone with 911. He continued to perform CPR until fire rescue arrived and took over.At this time, officials do not know how long Keyton was left in the car. Detectives are still working to establish a chronological timeline of events.“If you think you might forget, put a shoe back there. Take it off your foot and put it back there. Put your phone back there," Denise Moloney with HCSO said in a press conference. GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers overnight killed the bear they suspect attacked a 5-year-old girl early Sunday morning near Grand Junction.CPW says they saw the bear they believe to have been involved in the attack walking up to a home about a half-mile away from where the girl was attacked in east Orchard Mesa. The bear was killed before it entered one of three traps that had been set.The agency said officers are “confident” the bear is the same one involved in the attack based on its behavior, but they will continue searching for other bears in the area.The bear’s carcass will be transported to the CPW Wildlife Health Laboratory in Fort Collins for a necropsy."The necropsy, along with DNA results will provide the confirmation, but we are confident we have the right bear," said Area Wildlife Manager Kirk Oldham. "However, we will leave all three traps in place for the time being out of an abundance of caution."The girl, 5-year-old Kimberly Cyr, had gone outside around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to investigate noises she thought were coming from her dog, her mother told CPW officials.But the mother heard her daughter screaming and went outside to see a “large black bear” dragging her daughter. The bear dropped the girl when her mother screamed.Cyr was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, where she received around six-dozen stitches, her mother said.
