SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Fire-Rescue responded after a man reportedly got his hand stuck in an industrial tortilla press Thursday night.According to the department, the incident happened just after 5:30 at Tortillera La Perla on the 3100 block of National Avenue in San Diego.The man has been carried out of the factory, but a piece of the equipment is reportedly still stuck to the man's hand. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who went missing early in the day Wednesday. According to police, 77-year-old David McArthur left his home on the 7900 block of Wing Span Drive around 10 a.m. to work on his boat at The Southwestern Yacht Club. He was last seen walking toward his vehicle in the parking lot of the yacht club, according to a family friend. McArthur was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s six years ago. McArthur is described as a white man, 77-years-old who is bald with grey hair on the sides and a thin build. Police say he also wears a yellow metal wedding ring and black band digital watch on his left wrist. McArthur is from New Zealand and speaks with a slight accent. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diegans played the role of Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday as they delivered some holiday cheer to seniors in need downtown.Volunteers from the non-profits Serving Seniors and Friends of Downtown teamed up to deliver bags filled with essentials to seniors. Bags were filled with items including food, blankets, fresh towels, and other care products.Organizers of the event say that the seniors they serve don't have families or anyone to visit them and, in some cases, this is the only present they receive during the holidays."Serving seniors sent us pictures last year and we got to see seniors receiving them and it brought tears to your eyes," Lori Carpenter, with Friends of Downtown, said.More than 200 bags were handed out during Saturday's event. 786
