DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – United Nations experts have called for an "immediate investigation" by the United States into information they received that suggests that Jeff Bezos' phone was hacked after receiving a file sent from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's WhatsApp account. Bezos owns The Washington Post and is the founder of Amazon. At a time when Saudi Arabia was supposedly investigating the killing of Saudi critic and Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi and prosecuting those it deemed responsible, "it was clandestinely waging a massive online campaign against Mr. Bezos and Amazon targeting him principally as the owner of The Washington Post," the experts said in their statement.Investigators found that after Bezos got the video file in 2018, his phone began sending unusually large volumes of data, 845

Coronavirus test results were expected Friday for some passengers and crew aboard a cruise ship held off the California coast. The Grand Princess lay at anchor near San Francisco on Thursday after a traveler from a previous voyage died of the disease and at least four others became infected. While the more than 3,500 aboard the 951-foot (290-meter) vessel were ordered to stay at sea as officials scrambled to keep the virus at bay, only 45 were identified for testing, Princess Cruises said in a statement.“The ship will not come on shore until we appropriately assess the passengers,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom said.A Sacramento-area man who sailed on the ship in February later succumbed 707

Ellie Kemper doesn't want to call the ending of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" "bittersweet."The star told CNN the show wrapped filming at the end of June."We were filming the fourth season and we found out as we were filming it that it would be the final season," Kemper said. "In streaming age, that is actually like a fully lived life and feels like we had a lot of episodes given the world we live in now. But it still felt sad because I love these characters, I love the people I get to work with and so it's just a little bit of a loss."The second half of the show's fourth season starts streaming on Netflix in January. The new episodes will serve as the swan song for the quirky comedy about a woman trying to make her way in the real world after being held captive for years with a group of others in a bunker. It's clear that Kemper has a lot of affection for the character of Kimmy Schmidt, which she took on after the role that launched her to fame as receptionist Erin Hannon in "The Office."The actress is proud of the work she and her co-stars have done on "Unbreakable," even as she mourns its ending."I am so happy with how these stories ended," Kemper said. "Every character sort of finishes his or her journey in a really satisfying way. That felt really nice to leave on that note."Production on the series ended over the summer."It feels like we wrapped a long time ago, which is why I'm so excited for these episodes to come out in January, because I feel like I haven't seen them yet," Kemper said. "It almost feels like a lifetime ago that we finished, so I feel comforted it's going to be back in the world."This season hilariously sends up some timely topics, including the #MeToo movement.Kemper said she believes "it's great that everyone can have their voice be heard in this day and age" and said she doesn't think the show goes too far with the sensitive topic."I think that comedy is great way of dealing with the tough stuff," Kemper said. "[Showrunners] Robert [Carlock] and Tina [Fey] have been doing that so brilliantly all their careers."It's all treated intelligently, Kemper said, even as it's played for laughs. So, what about the speculation that an "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" movie could be in the works?"I know as much as you do," Kemper said. "I've seen rumors online and I hope that it comes true. I don't know anything beyond that."And how about an "Office" reunion?"Oh, I would, but I don't know if everyone else would," said Kemper, who added that she is still working on what her next project might be. "Are you kidding? I would do it yesterday."The final episodes of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" start streaming January 25 on Netflix.The-CNN-Wire? & ? 2018 Cable News Network, Inc., a Time Warner Company. Doctors treating a Taiwanese woman for a swollen eye were shocked to find four tiny bees living under her left eyelid. The miniscule insects, known as sweat bees, are 3 to 4 millimeters (0.12-0.16 inches) in length. Doctors at Taiwan's Fooyin University Hospital discovered the bees."I saw something that looked like insect legs, so I pulled them out under a microscope slowly, and one at a time without damaging things inside," said Hung Chi-ting, the head of the ophthalmology department.Sweat bees, also known as halictidae, "nest near graves and in fallen trees, so it's easy to come across them while hiking in mountains," Hung explained.According to CTS, the woman, identified by her family name of He, said she thinks the insects blew into her eye at a relative's grave site when she visited it with her family. She washed her eyes with water but kept experiencing severe pain."It was very painful. Tears wouldn't stop coming out of my eye," she said. "I was scared to death."After three hours of agony, He visited the hospital, where doctors determined she was suffering from cellulitis, a bacterial skin infection, and severe corneal erosion caused by the sweat bees."Thankfully she came to the hospital early, otherwise I might have had to take her eyeball out to save her life," Hung said. He's eyesight had been reduced to under 0.1, the equivalent of 20-200 vision on the Snellen eye chart measuring visual acuity, Hung told reporters. "Luckily, she didn't have a high fever and it hadn't affected her central nervous system."Local media reported that He was expected to make a full recovery. The sweat bee feeds off nectar and pollen, but is also drawn to human perspiration, which provides "precious moisture and salts," according to the 1762
