(KGTV) – Sheriff’s investigators and San Diego Police Detectives worked together to arrest three men after a series of small business burglaries in the Poway and Rancho Bernardo area.Robbers shattered the glass doors of Tony Pepperoni early Sunday morning and stole the restaurant’s safe."I was just happy it was at 5 a.m., and nobody was here and everyone's safe," said Sarah Dean, the manager of the pizza place. She said security cameras caught the burglary on camera.Pattaya Thai, the restaurant right across the street, was also broken into early Sunday morning.Dean believed the same thieves robbed both restaurants, which are in Rancho Carmel Village Center.The next break in the case came from more than three miles away in 4S Ranch on Sunday afternoon when a neighbor reported loud noise coming from behind the Boys and Girls Club.When deputies arrived, they found three men trying to crack the Tony Pepperoni’s safe.Sheriff’s investigators and SDPD detectives arrested and questioned Da'Shon Morales, 20, Jesus Ruiz Arias Jr., 19, and Fernando Vazquez Cruz, 20, on Sunday night in connection with burglary, possession of stolen property and other crimes. 1206

President Donald Trump visited Kenosha, Wisconsin on Tuesday which was the site of both peaceful protests and riots last week following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.The protests have mostly been peaceful in the city in the last few days. However, some politicians fear that Trump's visit could stoke embers of emotion and spark more violence in the nights to come.Trump's visit took place against the wishes of both Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and Kenosha Mayor Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian — both Democrats — who say that emotions in the city are still too raw."We want everything to calm down," Antaramian said in a press conference on Monday. "We want to give people an opportunity to talk before the president comes into town."There did not appear to be any violence or unrest upon Trump's arrival. Dozens of his supporters lined streets in Kenosha to see his motorcade, and Blake's family held a community gathering near the site of the shooting.During his visit, Trump praised law enforcement at a security roundtable for keeping peace in the city in recent days, and urged lawmakers in other states to lean on federal support in times of unrest. He also visited with business owners whose properties were damaged or destroyed in riots.Trump said Tuesday that he did not plan to meet with Blake or his family during his visit, saying it would be best if relations with the family were handled "locally." Prince Andrew's legal team has told CNN that they will not comment on the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, a day after an acting U.S. Attorney urged him to come forward with information about the case.On Thursday, Maxwell was charged with four counts relating to her alleged involvement in recruiting and trafficking underage girls for Epstein and two counts of perjury. Epstein himself was arrested and charged with trafficking in 2019, but weeks later was found dead in his jail cell.In announcing the charges against Maxwell on Thursday, Audrey Strauss — the acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York — urged anyone with information about the case to come forward, particularly Prince Andrew."We would welcome Prince Andrew coming in to talk with us.
