A 14-year-old from Port Huron, Michigan has been arrested in connection to a threatening comment made on the Instagram account of New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman.According to a New York Times article, Edelman received a comment on an Instagram post late last month saying: "I'm going to shoot my school up watch the news."The New York Times reports that Edelman's assistant called 911 and police determined the sender's email and IP address was traced to Port Huron.The teen was brought in for questioning and admitted to making the threat. He was arrested and charged with making a false report of a threat of terrorism, a four-year felony in Michigan. Police say a search of his home turned up two rifles that belonged to the teen's mother. Port Huron detectives credited Edelman with bringing the threat forward.  857

(KGTV) — Southern California police say they've arrested two people and seized 0,000 in electronics and gift cards in connection to a nationwide phone scam investigation.Fontana Police have arrested Ailing Lu, 25, of Los Angeles and Ji Hyun Lee, 25, of Gardena, over the scam they believe has affected hundreds of victims around the country.Investigators say a victim reported a cold call on Sept. 4 of a scammer impersonating an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official. The scammer threatened to arrest the victim if they didn't pay them ,200 in Target gift cards.The victim eventually provided the gift cards to the caller and later reported the incident to police.Police tracked the redemption of the gift cards to a Los Angeles Target location, where they investigated surveillance videos of the transactions. Target reported a similar incident from Indiana University Police and investigators compared the two case videos and transactions. Police say they had enough evidence to identify and arrest Lu and Lee after they conducted surveillance on suspected locations and vehicles in Los Angeles.Police served search warrants on two locations as well, discovering about 0,000 in things like gaming systems and computer devices, gift cards, and gift cards from victims.Fontana Police warned the public to contact law enforcement if they receive a similar call and threatening requests. (KGTV) - The mother of two girls found dead in their San Bernardino County home will be charged with their murders when she is released from the hospital, Ontario police said Thursday. Officers said Linda Nguyen, 47, was placed under arrest and will be booked when she is medically cleared. She is currently unresponsive, police said. The bodies of Nguyen’s daughters, aged 4 months and 14 years, were discovered by their father Tuesday when he returned home from work. Among the evidence were two suicides notes written by Nguyen “indicating that she intended to kill the children and to kill herself," police Sgt. Bill Russell told reporters. "We do know that the mother was dealing with depression prior to the incident and had dealt with that in the past," he said. Although scientists say the technology is still years away from human trials, 10News is digging into some other things you can do if you’re one of millions of men experiencing hair loss. According to WebMD, about 85 percent of men will have major hair thinning by the time they’re 50. Some men even start to lose hair before they turn 21. There are also some common myths when it comes to hair loss. The site reports that almost all hair loss in men is a genetic trait that comes from your parents. Other causes may include certain medications, too much vitamin A or not enough protein. WebMD says there are some things you can do, but be warned, most “miracle” products don’t work so, when in doubt, talk to your doctor or dermatologist.
