(KGTV) -- Wednesday morning, more than 110,000 signatures were turned in in an effort to put a housing project in North County in front of voters.The signatures were gathered by the “No on Newland Sierra” committee in 17 days. A passer-by spotted the dead person behind the tennis courts at Cotton Wood Creek near the intersection of Second and West B streets in Encinitas about 9:30 a.m., according to sheriff's officials.
