SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego's newly renamed Museum of Us will reopen to visitors this week.The museum, formerly called the Museum of Man, will reopen on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. under the state's new guidelines for museums during the coronavirus pandemic.The Museum of Us will operate at 25% capacity when it reopens and all guests will be required to wear a face covering. Other measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 include:Plexiglass is in place at the admission desk to minimize contact.Guests are required to keep 6 feet of distance between other visitors.Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the museum.Guests will be given a personal pencil to use throughout interactive exhibits.Guests will be provided a suggested linear path of travel to promote social distancing.Handrails and other surfaces throughout the museum are frequently sanitized for your safety.The museum is encouraging guests to also purchase their tickets ahead of time online or by using debit or credit cars. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police say the man found shot behind a Midway District strip mall was the victim of an armed robbery.Police received a call on Wednesday just after 6 p.m. over shots fired and a vehicle collision in the 3600 block of Midway Dr. Officers arrived to find a grey Acura had crashed into a retaining wall behind several businesses. Inside, the driver had been shot at least once.The man, identified as 18-year-old Eduardo Salguero of San Diego, was taken to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries.Investigators say they've learned that Salguero had arranged to purchase an item through Snapchat. When he arrived to meet the sellers, two Hispanic males entered his vehicle. During the meeting, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and the transaction turned into an armed robbery.Multiple gunshots were fired inside the vehicle, police said. The two suspects then fled on foot. Police only described the suspects as Hispanic males, between 20-30 years old, who were wearing dark clothing at the time. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Sheriff's Deputy Richard Fischer was re-assigned to administrative duties after a woman's allegations of inappropriate behavior surfaced this week.Now, a San Marcos woman is alleging Fischer did the same thing to her last year.    The woman is accusing Fischer of inappropriate conduct and touching in August of 2016, according to her attorney, Dan Gilleon.RELATED: Woman claims she was groped by San Diego deputy, files claim against department"Her house was burglarized during in the day and Fischer was one of the deputies that arrived to investigate the burglaries. They all leave," Gilleon said of his client's claims.Later, Gilleon said she heard a knock at her door."It's Deputy Fischer again. She opens the door and he looks at her and says, 'It looks like you could use a hug,' and without her consent reaches in and hugs her," Gilleon said.Gilleon added Fischer knew no one else was home."It shocks her, she's startled. The hairs going up on the back of the next," Gilleon said, alleging Fischer then uses the same ruse as another woman claims - asking to use the bathroom."Now he's deeper into the house and hugs her again. Now she's resisting and walks him to the door and he says - don't worry. I'll be in the community and I'll be keeping an eye out for you," Gilleon said.The second woman saw a news story about the other woman's similar allegations and recognized Fischer, according to her attorney."When she saw the story she knew word needed to get out. She wanted the other woman to know the same thing happened to her and she wanted the community to know this is what he is out there doing," Gilleon said.   Gilleon is filing the second claim next week.An SDSO spokesman told 10News  he will look into this second allegation and issue a statement. 1894
