A Ferguson activist whose son was found dead near her home said she believes he was killed -- even as police investigate the man's death as a suicide.Danye Jones was found on Oct. 17 in a wooded area in St. Louis County, police said. His mother, Melissa McKinnies, said family members found him hanging by a bed sheet from a tree behind their home.By the time police arrived at the scene, the victim was lying on the ground, St. Louis County Police spokesman Shawn McGuire said Thursday.There were no signs of trauma or foul play, and detectives are investigating his death as a suicide after talking to several relatives and friends, he said. 651

A California farm that was tied to an outbreak of E.coli on romaine lettuce is now recalling cauliflower and other lettuce grown at the farm.Adam Bros. Farming Inc. sent out a news release Thursday saying red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower harvested November 27-30 has been recalled because it may also be contaminated with E.coli.The farm initiated the voluntary recall with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday. The cauliflower was distributed in 10 states: Arizona, California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was also distributed in Tijuana, Mexico and Canada. The additional lettuce recalled was sent to states mostly on the western side of the country. Red and green leaf lettuce was distributed in California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Pennsylvania, Washington and Canada. A federal judge approved the public release of documents that had been under seal in a case involving Ghislaine Maxwell.She is the former girlfriend and confidant of the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.She's also an alleged accomplice in his sex-trafficking ring.The judge ordered the court to have the documents ready within a week.They're from a 2015 defamation case brought by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.She says Epstein sexually abused her while she was a minor -- and Maxwell was involved.Guiffre also says Epstein forced her to have sex with Britain's Prince Andrew.He denies that and the lawsuit was settled in 2017.Included in the documents are Maxwell's 2016 deposition, in which she denies knowing Epstein had a scheme to recruit underage girls for sex.Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to federal charges in the Epstein case and is in jail, pending trial.Epstein died in a jail cell last August while awaiting trial. 940
