SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - In recent weeks colorful bikes have filled the streets of San Diego. Dockless bike ridesharing companies were ready to go once the City Attorney's Office said they could operate. The city says LimeBike, Ofo, Mobike and Bird Scooter all have the proper licenses to operate here.LimeBike says in just two weeks they've logged 30,000 rides.The San Diego Bike Coalition supports the companies and believes the accessibility and affordability will help the city in its climate action plan. However, some residents have major concerns with the bikes, reporting that they're being left in the middle of sidewalks and on people's property. They've also witnessed scooter riders not wearing a helmet and people riding where they're not supposed to.Zack Bartlett, the general manager for LimeBike in San Diego, says they have an operations team patrolling the city 24/7 to run safety checks and reposition bikes improperly parked. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - It's Signing Day for Lincoln High School seniors.In a first-ever ceremony for the school, college-bound seniors were honored for their hard work and accomplishments on campus Tuesday."It is to inspire underclassmen to aspire towards greatness like their senior counterparts," ASB advisor Malykke Bacon said in an email. "This ceremony is to celebrate these seniors and their accomplishments."RELATED: High Tech Middle student award Navy child of the yearPrincipal Jose Sotoramos took the stage and congratulated seniors before several waves of students stepped on stage and signed their letters of acceptance.Students like Jorge de la Cruz and Jhaunee Diggs plan to stay in-state. Diggs wants to return to San Diego after attending UC Davis to be a future pediatrician."We have many students doing the right thing every day. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - KAABOO Del Mar will become KAABOO San Diego in 2020 as the popular music festival held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds moves to Petco Park. The change was announced by its producers Sunday at the end of a sold-out three day festival, its fifth at the North County location. Concerts will be held on Petco Park's playing field, Sycuan Stage at the Park, Lexus Premier Lot, and the Tailgate Lot, KAABOO officials said. “The location of Petco Park and its surrounding venues in downtown San Diego provides fans and artists alike the opportunity to enjoy everything that the vibrant metro area has to offer. We couldn’t be more ecstatic about this partnership and our relocation,” said Jason Felts, Managing Partner of KAABOO. “Our venue and the downtown Ballpark District offer the perfect setting for an event of this magnitude and further establishes Petco Park as the premier entertainment destination in Southern California. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Lifeguards are responding after several people got stuck while hiking above Blacks Beach. The three hikers could be seen in video just below the Torrey Pines Gliderport.
