KATHMANDU, June 24 (Xinhua)-- Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi arrived here Monday for a two-day official visit. Yang is the first senior foreign government official to visit Nepal after the formation of Interim Election Government on March 14.
Information on the nationalities of the 90-plus passengers has not been released.
Adopted at the first plenary session of the State Council on March 20, the 58-article document highlights a series of rules designed to regulate the practices of provincial-level governments, ministries and commissions, and departments directly under the council.
The law also requires medical institutions to respect their right to demand a discharge.
When meeting with Nivatthamrong, Zhang said the new Chinese leadership attaches great importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with Thailand.
