Ridesharing measured about 6,055,963 colony-colony forming units (CFU) compared to an average toilet with 171.61 CFU.Rideshare vehicles were far ahead of rental cars and even taxis on the study's germ index, and worse than toothbrush holders, coffee reservoirs, and toilets. "Interestingly, the door handles were the cleanest surface, with 1,810 CFU/sq. in. However, one study showed that the average car door handle holds 28 microorganisms per square inch – meaning the average rideshare door handle is 64 times germier."The study compared three random ride-share cars, three taxis and three rental cars.While not all germs are harmful, higher levels of some bacteria pose a risk. A 10-year-old Great Pyrenees found himself in a tight situation after he somehow found his way into a culvert near his home. Cheatham County Animal Control posted photos from Wednesday's rescue on its Facebook page. Jack’s owners noticed he was missing after he failed to eat his morning meal. They heard whining coming from a 15-inch-wide culvert near their house and called 911. "He was in so much pain, I guess he just couldn't go anymore. He just couldn't hardly catch his breath," Pete Greco, Jack's owner, said. Fire officials arrived and began cooling him off from the end of the culvert. Greco, along with firefighters, animal control, and construction workers from across the street, began to dig and cut through the culvert. Crews had to slice the culvert at the edge of the driveway without tearing up the concrete. “Without the ability to use a control pole (nothing to grab onto as he was faced away from us) we ended up having to remove a little bit more of the culvert top, and we crawled inside the culvert and hauled his keister out," animal control wrote in the Facebook post. “You could literally see the relief in his eyes, you could also hear the sighs of relief behind us from the family eagerly awaiting to see their little boy safe and sound.” "I don't see how he would have gotten in there," Greco said. There is concern he could head back to the brig before his May 28th trial, even after the President intervened. Representative Duncan Hunter’s team was under the impression that his March 31 meeting with Chief Eddie Gallagher would have major consequences. "I am going to see why they are going to put him back in the brig if my staff goes and talks to Eddie Gallagher,” Representative Hunter said in a Twitter video. He told his followers he was going to meet with the Navy Liaison to get answers. Navy Commander Tamara Lawrence told 10News Gallagher now lives in another San Diego base, which they cannot disclose. (KGTV) -- The controversial immigrant caravan is inching it's way closer to the San Diego border, with at least 132 people already in Tijuana. Many of the migrants plan to walk across the pedestrian bridge in San Ysidro and turn themselves in to the customs officers. The group of more than 600 has ridden trains and walked for miles to get to the United States - Mexico border.  Enrique Morones and his team - known as Border Angels - are sending supplies to Tijuana. "The Border Angels have been very supportive, we've had people on the caravan, we have been collecting items for the caravan," he said. "These people that are coming on a caravan are escaping a situation in their country that they're seeking refuge from. Let's welcome that stranger. Give me your poor, your tired your huddled masses."Jorge Nieto, a journalist following the immigrants' journey, says they have been arriving in Tijuana in small groups - 50 to 100 at a time.Nieto was told that once the whole group is together, they'll cross all at once. The caravan hasn't been without controversy.President Trump tweeted this week, saying he instructed the secretary of homeland security to keep the large caravan out of the U.S., and asked Mexico to keep the immigrants from going through the Country. RELATED: Migrant caravan heads to US-Mexico border "They're trying to escape something.
