ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Walt Disney World and the union for its actors and singers have reached an agreement that will allow them to return to work. The deal was reached Wednesday, more than a month after the actors and singers said they were locked out of the reopening of the theme park resort for publicly demanding coronavirus tests. Actors' Equity Association signed a memorandum of understanding allowing the actors, singers, and stage managers to return to their jobs after Disney agreed to have a state-run drive-thru COVID-19 testing site for workers and others at the Florida theme park resort. (KGTV) -- A man was hit and killed by a train while crossing the tracks in Oceanside Saturday night.According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the man was hit around 11:20 p.m. on the 200 block of Surfrider Way. Deputies say the southbound train was traveling 55 miles per hour when the engineer spotted a man duck under the pedestrian crossing guard and try to run across the track. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - A 7-year-old was found dead inside an Oceanside home Wednesday morning, leading to the arrest of her father, police say. According to Oceanside Police, the suspect's mother was called to the home on the 3500 block of Las Vegas Drive around 11 a.m. to pick up the suspect’s two children. When the woman went inside to pick up the children, she noticed blood on her son, Pedro Araujo, 27, police say. After leaving the home with one of the children, a 6-year-old girl, police say the woman called 911. Police arrived and, after searching through the home, found the body of the 7-year-old girl. Araujo was arrested and taken into custody, police say. "I'm shocked," said neighbor Tina Torres of the crime scene in her neighborhood. Norwegian Cruise Lines announced they are extending their suspension of all cruises until at least March 2021, as coronavirus cases remain high in the US and around the world.In a statement released Wednesday, Norwegian said all trips departing between January 1 and February 28 as well as “select voyages in March 2021” will be suspended. On Thursday, Louisville Metro Council passed a no-confidence resolution against Mayor Greg Fischer and gave him a list of ways to earn back the community's trust.According to CNN, the amended resolution passed 22-4.Instead of firing the mayor, the Council gave Fischer a list of actions he can work on to "restore trust between the residents of Louisville Metro and its government and ensure the safety and equality of all its residents."The list includes:Address policing policy, social inequality, environmental inequality, and economic inequality to council members, the business community, and the non-profit sectorWork with the Kentucky Attorney General to ensure the "complete investigative findings" of Breonna Taylor's death, David McAtee's death, and the civil unrest that followed are shared with the public after the investigation.
