(KGTV) - A Los Angeles-area McDonald's location made a noticeable gesture Wednesday aimed at celebrating women.The restaurant in Lynwood flipped its iconic "golden arches" upside-down to mark International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8.In a statement, McDonald's said simply "today, we celebrate" women:"We recognize the extraordinary contribution of women. From employees and franchisees, to suppliers and community partners, to our customers, we are inspired by your strength and leadership. He also supported the impeachment of President Donald Trump and the Green New Deal.Brian Maryott was the former Mayor of San Juan Capistrano and ran for the 49th Congressional District in 2018.With 66% of precincts reporting, Levin had a lead with 55% of the vote, compared to 45% for Maryott. 548

(KGTV) — Following a second arraignment filled with outbursts, a judge suspended criminal proceedings and order psychiatric evaluations for the man accused of setting the 23,000-acre Holy Fire.Much like his arraignment last week, Forrest Clark, 51, disrupted proceedings Friday, saying he was innocent and questioned Orange County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Menninger.As Menninger requested to meet with attorneys, Clark continued to speak out and make comments about "live energy" and an attorney's tie.HOLY FIRE: 545

(KGTV) - Chula Vista Mayor Mary Salas outlined the city’s recent accomplishments and layed out its future goals in her fourth State of the City Address Tuesday night. Salas went over the growth and achievements San Diego County's second-largest city has seen over the last year, including neighborhood revitalization and the approval of the Bayfront Project. During the address, Salas spoke about events that drew large crowds over the last year.Salas said the city’s Fourth of July celebration in 2017 drew a crowd of 15,000 while more than 35,000 people attended HarborFest on the Bayfront.RELATED: Port of San Diego, Chula Vista moves forward with bayfront developmentThe Mayor also spoke about growth happening in Third Avenue Village citing the Lemon Fest, Taste of Third and Village Summer Nights in June. A popular topic throughout California in recent years is infrastructure.
