A man was chased and shot with a stun gun after exposing himself inside a Phoenix Walmart.Phoenix police report that on April 8, an off-duty uniformed officer noticed a man exposing himself, while inside the store. The officer called for backup and watched as 21-year-old Juan Castro Torres, exposed and touched himself while observing female customers. Police contacted Torres as he left the store, but he fought with the officers and broke free, running back into the store. Police pursued Torres up and down the aisles until he was shot with a stun gun and taken into custody. Torres has been charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. 692
A pharmacist was arrested for allegedly luring an Indiana woman to his Colorado home and then drugging and sexually assaulting her multiple times, according to a release from the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. And investigators believe there are more victims who have yet to come forward.Brent Stein, 46, was a pharmacist with Mountain Key Pharmacy in Florissant, Colorado, about 2 hours southwest of Denver. His pharmacy license was suspended this week as he was booked on three counts of sexual assault, but has since bonded out of the Teller County Detention Facility.The investigation into the allegations against Stein began on June 18, when Teller County detectives received information there was a sexual assault victim at a hospital in Colorado Springs, the sheriff’s office said.The victim told investigators that she had met Stein on a dating website and that the suspect had made promises to heal her medical conditions and that he was a pharmacist, the Teller County release read.The victim traveled from Indiana to Stein’s home, and during her stay, she claims she was given un-prescribed medication by Stein, which resulted in her being incapacitated. Investigators allege the victim was sexually assaulted multiple times by Stein while the victim was under the influence of the unknown medication.Upon further investigation, other victims have come forward to report unwanted sexual conduct by Stein, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives believe there might be other victims and are asking anyone who knows anything about this case or may be an additional victim to come forward. A mother in Clarksville, Tennessee has been charged after the death of her 4-month-old daughter.Officials said they responded to a home in the 200 block of Orleans Drive after 11:30 a.m. Saturday on a call of an unresponsive child.Officers found the 4-month-old not breathing. They performed CPR, and the baby was taken to Tennova Hospital where she failed to regain consciousness and passed away.Detectives investigated the infant’s death leading to a criminal homicide charge against the baby’s mother, 25-year-old Sarah Danielle Scribner.A witness, identified in a police affidavit as Aeriel Shiraef, told authorities Scribner called her and said she'd done something bad. Scribner allegedly told Shiraef she had stopped the baby from crying by putting her hand over the infant's mouth. She added the infant was no longer breathing.Scribner was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. 916

A North Korean soldier was shot by his former comrades while defecting to South Korea across the demilitarized zone, Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement Monday.The wounded soldier was evacuated from the site for emergency medical attention, the statement said, after defecting from a North Korean guard post at the Joint Security Area (JSA) on the heavily-guarded border between the two countries.The soldier is reported to have left the North Korean guard post in front of Panmungak, on the border inside the demilitarized zone (DMZ), and proceeded to move towards Freedom House on the South Korean side. 627
