SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (CNS) - Authorities Wednesday announced a ,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a shooting outside a Spring Valley marijuana dispensary that killed a 59-year-old security guard in early June.Deputies responded around 11:05 p.m. on June 2 to the dispensary at 8721 Troy St., just east of state Route 125, and found Kenneth Love II mortally wounded, sheriff's Lt. Someone broke into Queen Califia’s Magical Circle located in Kit Carson Park.The sculpture garden features many works of art, including a mosaic maze, totem sculptures, a fountain, and a wall in the form of playful serpents.  The vandals cut the lock to the gate leading into the property. Then they smashed more than 20 custom shaped mirrors in the mosaic maze.  They also damaged two of the totems. The damage was discovered this week.Lech Juretko, of Art Mosaic Inc, helped the artist, Niki de Saint Phalle, create the sculpture garden for the community. He is also the one charged with repairing it.“I cannot really explain it,” Juretko said about the damage, “It’s sad. It’s never happened.”Juretko estimates it will cost ,000 to ,000 to repair the damage. He did not have a timeline for the repairs.The City of Escondido released the following statement to 10News.“The City plans to keep Queen Califia’s Magical Circle open during the regularly scheduled hours, weather permitting. Signage will be posted, and areas that could possibly be sharp from the glass and tile breakage will be blocked off. In addition, we always have a volunteer docent on site at all times while the sculpture garden is open to the public. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, said Thursday that he hasn't visited the White House in more than two months and noted that he's avoided visiting President Donald Trump in-person due to the White House's lax COVID-19 protocols."I actually haven't been to the White House since August the 6th because my impression was their approach to how to handle this is different from mine and what I insisted that we do in the Senate, which is to wear a mask and practice social distancing," McConnell said at an event in Kentucky on Thursday.McConnell added that he and the Trump speak "frequently" on the phone.Given McConnell's status as the most powerful lawmaker in the President's party, Thursday's revelation was surprising. Several U.S. airlines are boosting their flight schedules ahead of the Thanksgiving in anticipation of a surge in travelers flying during the holiday amid the coronavirus pandemic.An American Airlines spokesperson told FOX Business that they plan to increase its flights from Nov. 24-25 and Nov. 28-30 by 15%, bumping up from an average of 3,500 flights per day to more than 4,000 flights over the holiday.United Airlines said that they would boost capacity, with the carrier predicting Thanksgiving week will be its busiest since March, so they are planning to add more than 1,400 domestic flights that week.The carrier added that they'd "swap in larger aircraft" to accommodate any last-minute travel demands.In December, United said it'll add more than 140 daily flights and increase capacity on more than 350 routes as passengers look to travel during the holidays that month.JetBlue and Delta Airlines are also adding more flights in anticipation of passengers traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday.JetBlue said 25 flights from New York City and surrounding areas to Florida, California, and in the Caribbean, such as Port-au-Prince, San Juan, Santiago, and Santo Domingo, will be added between Nov. 20 and Nov. 30.Meanwhile, Delta said it'll increase to over 3,800 peak-day flights per day during Thanksgiving.Delta said it'll increase service to leisure destinations in Hawaii, Mexico, and Florida. 1417
