SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police arrested a man this week on suspicion of vandalizing parked cars in Bankers Hill and East Village. Alexander Galarza, 34, was booked into jail Monday on multiple counts of felony vandalism, according to SDPD Lt. Dan Smyth. Galarza used a pole to break the windows of 10 cars in Bankers Hill late Sunday night, police said. He left the area before officers reached the scene. The report claims that America’s Finest City is the second most rent-burdened city in the nation. Miami took the top spot on the list, followed by San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and Orlando. The report also found that those who make minimum wage would have to work nearly 100 hours per week to be able to afford the median rent. To come up with the report, Freddie Mac looked at how other organizations measure affordability to assess the rent-burden issue. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police are investigating Tuesday the report of a woman's body found in the water at Bonita Cove in Mission Bay.A person walking on the beach found the remains of the woman about 10:20 a.m., San Diego Police Lt. Chris Sharp said.There was no indication of foul play but there were injuries to the body, said Lt. Sharp.The Medical Examiner will try to identify the victim and conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.Bonita Cove is a busy area of Mission Bay.
