BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called on China and the European Union (EU) to maintain close high-level exchanges so as to further boost their comprehensive strategic partnership.
Leela Mani Poudel, chief secretary of the Nepal government, told Xinhua that they are quite optimistic that Wang's visit could pave the way for a state visit to Nepal by China President Xi Jinping, when the two neighbors mark the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Xi has held talks or met with Putin for ten times since he assumed the office of Chinese presidency in March 2013.
