Forty counties have officially been removed from the country's list of 125 impoverished counties after going through a rigorous evaluation, including assessments from third-party institutions, a poverty relief official said Friday at a press conference.

The book, which was compiled by the Party history and literature research institution of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, will be distributed across the country.
Yang, who is also director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, said both countries should firmly support each other on issues of major concern, increase coordination within multilateral frameworks, and jointly push for the settlement of international hot-spot issues.
