SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 17-year-old boy with several health problems.According to police, Jeremy Jose Sanchez was last seen by his mother at their apartment on Aug. 23 at around 9 p.m. Police did not disclose what part of the city the boy was last seen.The teen suffers from vision damage, loss of hearing, and has active tuberculosis. Police said he takes medications for his conditions, but he left his home without them.Police said Jeremy was reported as a runaway juvenile at risk due to health conditions.The teen is Latino with a tanned complexion, 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighs around 146 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.Jeremy was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, and white, red and black Jordan shoes.Anyone with information on the teen is urged to contact San Diego police at 619-531-2000 or 911. 902

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police arrested a man who tried to rob a downtown bank Saturday.Police said a 34-year-year old white man entered the Chase Bank on West Broadway and handed a note to a teller saying that he was robbing the bank shortly before 3 p.m. The teller was able to keep the suspect inside the bank until San Diego Police arrived on the scene. Police took the empty-handed suspect into custody without incident as he was walking out of the bank. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.  585

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego health officials are worried about a recent uptick in out-of-towners testing positive for coronavirus locally ahead of the holiday weekend.In San Diego, health officials have seen increases in positive COVID-19 cases diagnosed locally in people who live in nearby counties or states. Throughout the pandemic, there have been 16 Arizona residents have tested positive while in the region, seven of those were in the last week. So far, 330 Imperial County residents have tested positive while in San Diego and 61 of those were in the last week, as cases grow in that county.RELATED: San Diego County to close bars that don't serve food to slow COVID-19 spread"We have looked specifically at nearby county residents. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for a man who reportedly tried to stop a woman from leaving a locker room at a clinical training facility.According to police, the man entered the women’s locker room at the UCSD Clinical Training Facility around 11:15 a.m. on August 20.Police say the man walked in as the victim was using the restroom. The woman tried to leave, but the suspect blocked her, asking “don’t you want this,” gesturing to his body, police say.The man then left the bathroom before walking back inside and blocking the victim’s exit once again. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Residents all over San Diego County Wednesday night reported seeing mysterious lights hovering in the sky. 10News received several calls from residents throughout the county who reported seeing the lights in the western sky between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Reports came in from Blossom Valley, La Jolla, Del Mar, Chula Vista and El Cajon.10News reached out to authorities to find out what may be the source of the lights, and an official with Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado confirmed that the lights were from flares being used during training exercises.
