WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A man has been arrested and charged after police say he threw his wife into the Provo River in Utah on Sunday.According to an arrest report, 61-year-old Douglas Harold Green and his wife were at the Provo River Resort, located just downriver from Deer Creek State Park in Wasatch County, when they began arguing over dinner arrangements.Police say Green became angry and threatened to drown her in the river. He then dragged her to the bank of the Provo River and forced her in, the probable cause statement says.Witnesses said they tried to help her, but Green yelled at them to stay away.Police said the woman had a bruise on each arm, which she said were from Green dragging her. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed in the 100 block of Estrelita Drive in Vista Friday night. Police say the white pickup truck involved in the crash fled the scene. The crash happened at 8:18 p.m., according to police. Two hours later police found an abandoned vehicle down the road that matches the pickup described in the crash. Walmart employees could soon be getting a little more wiggle room in their work attire.The discount giant is testing a new dress code that would allow workers to wear any solid colored shirt and adds blue to the mix of approved pants colors, making blue jeans work-appropriate attire, a spokesperson said."We are always testing new ideas and concepts in a small number of our stores," spokesperson Justin Rushing said in an emailed statement "Some of these tests are expanded while others are retired.
