MILAN (AP) — The Mount Etna observatory says lava and ash are spewing from a new fracture on the active Sicilian volcano amid an unusually high level of seismic activity.The Etna observatory said a swarm of 130 tremors have been recorded by Monday midday, the most powerful registering a magnitude of 4.0. It reported lava flows from the volcano and said a new fracture had opened near its southeast crater.The owner of a refuge on the volcano says hikers are being brought down from higher elevations to 1,900 meters (6,230 feet) for their safety. But there are no reports of injuries, and so far the spewing ash was not causing disruptions to residents of nearby towns and cities.Etna, the largest of Italy's three active volcanoes, has been particularly active since July. 783

MARGATE, Fla. — A South Florida woman just couldn't wait to have her baby.Susan Anderson and her husband, Joseph, had almost made it inside Natural BirthWorks in Margate last Friday when baby Julia decided to meet the world early.Doorbell video shared by owner Gelena Hinkley showed the moment of birth.Video shows the mother crouching over in the parking lot while midwife Sandy Lobaina stands behind her.Anderson screamed just as two police officers, who happened to be in the area at the time, walked up to her."She's OK," Lobaina said. "I'm the midwife. She's here to have the baby."Anderson let out a big scream and Lobaina caught the baby as the officers watched in disbelief.After Julia's birth, Anderson was helped into the medical center by the child's father and Lobaina.In the video Hinkley ran into the frame just moments after the birth — but not fast enough."Un-freaking-believable," Hinkley said, seemingly disappointed she missed the party."What was going through my mind was, 'Get in the tub. Get in the tub.' Because I just wanted that relief," Anderson said.Lobaina said she has some crazy births before, but this was a first."Babies sometimes come really quick…and you just got to be quick, put your gloves on and just go," Lobaina said.Although Hinkley missed all the action, she's seen the video and has a good sense of humor."It was the best handoff ever," she said. Marriott International says a guest reservation database has been breached and may have exposed information of approximately 500 million guests.The company says it is investigating and addressing the incident that involves the Starwood guest reservation database. They received an alert on Sept. 8 from an internal security tool regarding an attempt to access the Starwood guest reservation database. Marriott quickly called on security experts to help figure out what happened.Security experts learned there had been unauthorized access to the Starwood network since 2014. On Nov. 19, Marriott was able to decrypt the information and determined that the contents were from the Starwood guest reservation database.For approximately 327 million guests affected by the breach, the information accessed includes some combination of name, mailing address, phone number, email address, passport number, Starwood Preferred Guest account information, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure information, reservation date, and communication preferences.Marriott says they have established a dedicated call center (USA: 877-273-9481) to answer questions guests may have about the breach. MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, Wy. (KGTV) — A man police say was captured on video taunting a bison at Yellowstone National Park this week has been arrested.Glacier National Park rangers arrested 55-year-old Raymond Reinke, of Pendleton, Ore., Thursday just after 10:30 p.m.In the video, a man is seen Tuesday in the middle of traffic approaching the bison. He begins the taunt the animal, which becomes visibly agitated and charges the man multiple times.After the footage was shared out, Yellowstone Superintendent Dan Wenk called the man's behavior, "reckless, dangerous, and illegal," on Facebook, adding those who ignore rules for distancing themselves from wildlife risk their lives and threaten the park.Yellowstone requires visitors to keep at least 25 yards from animals like bison and elk, and 100 yards from bears and wolves.Tuesday's incident wasn't Reinke's first recent run-in with law enforcement either, according to police. He had reportedly been visiting multiple national parks over the last week.On July 28, he was arrested by law enforcement at Grand Teton National Park for drunk and disorderly conduct.He then traveled to Yellowstone, where his vehicle was stopped by rangers on July 31. He was cited as a passenger for failure to wear a seat belt, after rangers said he appeared drunk and argumentative, the park said.It's after this incident the park said they believed Reinke encountered the bison.Rangers investigating the video believed Reinke to be behind the incident and had his bond revoked and an arrest warrant issued.Rangers began searching for his vehicle, and he was located at Glacier National Park. Rangers there had received a call of two hotel guests creating a disturbance and identified one of the guests as Reinke.He was booked into Yellowstone Jail to await a scheduled court appearance Friday. 1842
