A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to the death of a 98-year-old Wadsworth, Ohio woman who was found dead in a "hidden location" inside her home last week.The teen was in a Cleveland-area location when authorities learned of his involvement in the death of Margaret Douglas, who was reported missing by an out-of-town relative after one of her friends had not been in contact with her since April 3. 442

A 6-year-old boy stood crying in front of a gas station convenience store trying to find help for a man he thought was “choking,” Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies say.That man, Jose Bermudez, was overdosing on heroin, deputies wrote in an arrest report.Bermudez smoked heroin earlier in the day and then picked the boy up from school on April 23, Bermudez said in the report. He drove with the boy in the car to the Speedway Gas Station at 5019 Okeechobee Blvd in suburban West Palm Beach.The next thing he says he remembers was waking up in the hospital.A friend happened to call Bermudez at the time of the alleged overdose and the 6-year-old answered. When the friend heard choking noises in the background, the friend told the boy to go find help, the report states.A man came up to the boy in front of the store and asked what was wrong. He said Bermudez was choking and needed help.Deputies arrived on scene and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue took Bermudez to the hospital for treatment. Once he was discharged, deputies placed him under arrest. Bermudez is facing a child neglect charge for failing to provide the boy with proper care as a person responsible for the child’s welfare, court records show.Bermudez was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and released on ,000 bond. 1323

That's the accusation from Republican rival John Cox who says Newsom has agreed to only one debate thus far, despite several opportunities being offered.Newsom tells 10News he has already been part of four debates with Cox but critics point out that was during the primary campaign with other candidates sharing the stage.Newsom tells 10News he prefers meeting with people at town halls where there's more time for interaction with the audience and less grandstanding.RELATED: Gavin Newsom, John Cox to face off in November General Election"Candidly, the last three out of four of our debates, looked like Jerry Springer shows than substantive dialogue," said Newsom. But political analyst Kevin Riggs says its no surprise Newsom is shying away from debates at this point in the race."He's ahead in the polls, he's ahead in the fundraising, at this point his campaign is an exercise in risk management," said Riggs. (KGTV) -- New guidance was issued Tuesday for the reopening of California’s theme parks and professional sporting events.The state’s guidance for theme parks:-- Smaller them parks may resume operation in Tier 3 (Moderate/Orange)Limited capacity of 25 percent or 500, whichever is fewerMay only open outdoor attractionsTicket sales limited to visitors in same county-- All theme parks may resume operation in Tier 5 (Yellow/Minimal)Limited capacity of 25 percent-- All theme parksImplement reservation system and screen guests for symptoms in advanceFace coverings mandatory throughout the park unless eating or drinkingFor professional sporting events at outdoor stadiums:-- May resume in Tier 3 (Moderate/Orange) at 20 percent and in Tier 4 (Minimal/Yellow) at 35 percent-- Ticket sales restricted to customers within 120 mile radius-- Advance ticket sales and assigned seats (No day of or will-call ticket sales)-- Eating and drinking in assigned seats only-- Face coverings are mandatory throughout the stadium unless eating or drinking-- Tailgaiting prohibited however parking at stadium is requiredIn a Tuesday virtual conference call, Dr. Mark Ghaly with the state's Public Health Department said the guidance for sporting events did not apply to collegiate athletics. All seven other LEGOLAND Parks around the world have reopened safely with millions of guests and twenty thousand employees going through the gates without any COVID-19 incidents. (KGTV) - Three San Diego residents were shot to death during a weekend of violence in Tijuana.Multiple Tijuana-based news services said a triple homicide was reported on the morning of Nov. 25 in front of a building in the Lomas Verdes housing complex. When the bodies were found, they each had gunshot wounds to the head.According to news outlet Punto Norte, investigators believe the three people killed were taken from an apartment at gunpoint, forced to kneel and then shot.10News spoke to 23-year-old Katheryn Garcia. She told us her cousin, 17-year-old Christopher Alexis Gomez was among the three people shot to death. Garcia said her cousin is a senior at O'Farrell Charter School (OCS) in Encanto. She said he was a proud starting Lineman for the school's new football team. Last week, Gomez told Garcia that he was going to a barbecue party in Ensenada on Friday with his friend, 18-year-old Juan Suarez Ojeda. Dr. Jonathan Dean, the Superintendent at OCS, told 10News Ojeda wasa recent O'Farrell Charter graduate, class of 2018. Garcia said she has never met the third victim, but knew the teen was Ojeda's friend who lived in Tijuana.Garcia said the three were tortured, likely in a different location, before being shot execution style.Garcia said her family are now left with more questions than answers. Why would Christopher, a boy who had never been in trouble, be killed? Was this a case of mistaken identity? Was he at the wrong place at the wrong time? Who would do this?“They’re monsters. Who does that to three young boys who had their whole life ahead of them," Garcia said in tears.
