Distributing the vaccine is made more arduous due to the extremely cold temperatures required to store the vaccines.Pfizer has been working with UPS and FedEx on distributing vaccines from its warehouses. Pfizer has said that it plans on distributing up to 50 million vaccines doses globally by the end of the year.“Over the last several months, we have activated Pfizer’s extensive manufacturing network, including thousands of highly skilled workers in multiple locations. As a result, Pfizer is manufacturing and readying for release millions of doses each day, and that volume will grow over the coming weeks,” Pfizer said.As health care workers get vaccinated, the shots are slated to make their way to those living and working in assisted living facilities. Major pharmacy chains, such as CVS and Walgreens, are slated to help administer the vaccines to those in assisted living facilities.“With approximately 70 percent of the U.S. population living within three miles of a CVS Pharmacy, we’ll be easy to reach when a vaccine is authorized by the FDA and becomes available in retail settings,” Dr. Troyen Brennan, Chief Medical Officer, CVS Health, said last month. The team develop HASEL, an artificial soft muscle that could enhance robot technology, making them better able to help people who need it."The robot needs to come into your home and work around you," Morrisey says. "And so if the robot is going to go up stairs it's going to need muscles to do that."HASEL muscle technology could also lead to advanced prosthetics.Morrisey says, "If you make a robot that has you know a skeleton frame with a soft bicep on it that moves up and down, you can do the same thing with a prosthetic."While other artificial muscles can be bulky, or unable to withstand electric pulses,  if there's an electric surge, HASEL can even repair itself. Indonesian police have vowed to crackdown on the distribution of bootleg alcohol, as deaths this month connected to the consumption of illegally produced toxic liquor exceeded 86.The majority of the deaths were in the province of West Java, but have also been reported in the capital Jakarta, and South Kalimantan, said national police spokesman Inspector General Setyo Wasisto."They (bootleggers and their distributors) are part of a close knit community. Sometimes, when police come to check on a tip they have already put the bootleg alcohol away. They know who their customers are when they come. It's much like a clandestine narcotics network," Setyo said."In the past, bootleg alcohol was found to be a mixture of alcohol and energy drinks. Some are a mix of pure alcohol, carbonated drinks and an ingredient used in anti-mosquito repellent."Police have promised to stamp out the scourge before the Islamic holy month of Ramadan beginning mid-May, with a new task force being created to handle the assignment.Seven people have been arrested so far in connection with the deaths, four in Jakarta and three in West Java province, said Argo Yuwono, a spokesman for South Jakarta police.In response to the recent spate of poisonings, police have rounded-up sellers of bootleg alcohol in affected areas, and sent samples of seized liquor to the country's Drug and Food Control Agency for forensic evaluation, according to the state-run Antara news agency."We have taken the blood and urine samples along with that of the drink.
