John Paul Stevens, a former Supreme Court Justice appointed by Gerald Ford, has died at the age of 99 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. According to a statement from the US Supreme Court, Stevens died from complications from a stroke. Stevens served on America's top court from 1975 through 2010. Kroger announced on Tuesday a temporary pay raise for all of its frontline employees as the chain of grocery stores have seen a surge in demand. The an hour raise will be applied to hours worked from March 29 through April 18. This announcement is in addition to a bonus that the company announced last week. He went to Fort Thomas Highlands High School where he also played basketball and baseball. As a junior, he passed for a Northern Kentucky-record 2,759 yards and 37 touchdowns in 13 games. He won state championship titles in 1996 and 1998 and also went to the Sweet 16 tournament with the boys' basketball team.
