The Neighborhood Watch Block Captain is tired of seeing the same problems on repeat at the library. "It was punitive and unfair and targeting a specific population," Jones said.Jones says one reason the policy changed was after a librarian found a teenager sleeping. Rather than kick her out, she had a conversation with the teenager. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - SDG&E has gained full control of a gas leak that prompted evacuations and shut down SR-163 and Friars Road throughout the day Wednesday. All evacuations were lifted and roadways in the area reopened just before 8 p.m. following daylong evacuations and closures. Crews said they would begin assessing damage and working to fix the gas line overnight Wednesday. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Stopping aggressive behavior before it starts is one of the many goals for schools within the San Ysidro School District.The San Ysidro School District partnered up with the District Attorney’s office to teach staff members restorative practices in school. These practices help students deal with their emotions and understand their behaviors.Kids take a few minutes a day to express how they feel and address different topics like who they trust and why.
