DENVER — A prominent Denver realtor was fired by RE/MAX for removing Black Lives Matter signs from yards in her neighborhood.Denice Reich has sold home across Denver for more than three decades. The affluent realtor lives in the city's Hilltop neighborhood.A neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous, released screenshots from the social media app NextDoor that show Reich removing Black Lives Matter signs. The anonymous NextDoor user posted on the app, saying that the incident happened on Aug. 1 around 6:30 a.m. He claims Reich had six to eight signs in her SUV.On Wednesday, Reich admitted she removed two Black Lives Matter signs, one from her neighbor next door and another from a neighbor across the street. She added that she returned the signs three hours later. She said in a phone interview that the signs were as offensive as “KKK” signs and called the Black Lives Matter movement a “terrorist organization” out to destroy America. Reich said she apologized to her neighbors, but was not sorry for standing up against what she referred to as an anti-Semitic organization she found highly offensive. Reich added that she believes Black lives do matter and police reform needs to happen. She claims her signs in support of President Donald Trump have been removed from her yard four separate times. In a statement, RE/MAX wrote that while everyone is entitled to their views, they could not "in good faith continue to affiliate with someone who has taken another person's property and trespassed in doing so."In Denver, removing a sign from private property falls under petty theft. This story was originally published by Adi Guajardo on KMGH in Denver. 1668
DEL MAR (KGTV): The Del Mar Racetrack will open it's fall season Friday afternoon, it's the fifth year of the Bing Crosby Racing Season."You got 16 days to basically, do everything," says CEO Joe Harper. The shorter season features smaller crowds and smaller fields, but trainer Peter Miller says that's part of its charm."It's easy to get a drink. It's easy to get a bet down. It's easy to watch the races. It's better," he says. "And it's better to train the horses on this kind of a laid back, easy going situation."Miller's horses won 31 races at Del Mar over the summer. He hopes to have similar success over the next month.Around the track, Harper says betters can have success by getting more access to horses and betting lines."It's a short meet. It's full of good horses and good racing. It's a local's meet, which I love, a little less hectic than the summer," says Harper. The track has 16 days of racing planned, and every day has some kind of theme, festival or concert. That includes a special Veterans Day event and even a Thanksgiving dinner for families that want to take in the races on the holiday.Full details on tickets and events can be found here. 1187

DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. — A mother was arrested in Ohio for allegedly creating child pornography of her own 3-year-old daughter, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office announced on Tuesday.Kayla Parker, 26, of Dayton, Ohio, was charged with felonies including the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent assault.According to the office of Attorney General Josh Shapiro, Parker lived with her ex-boyfriend, David Carbonaro approximately four years ago. During that time, Parker committed inappropriate sexual acts with her daughter, the 3-year-old victim, including the creation of child pornography.“This is an egregious case – a mother who preyed upon and sexually abused her own three-year-old daughter,” Attorney General Josh Shapiro said. When investigators executed a search warrant at Carbonaro’s residence in July, they reportedly found hundreds of images and several video files of a 3-year-old girl in various stages of undress. At least one file depicted an adult female’s hand reaching inside the victim’s underwear.Carbonaro identified the victim and her mother to agents.According to a probable cause affidavit, Parker told investigators that, "Carbonaro would watch her abusing the victim and often masturbate during the act."During that same interview, Parker allegedly told investigators that, on numerous occasions during the time she lived with Carbonaro, she undressed and escorted her 3-year-old daughter to a bedroom, shut the door and left her alone with Carbonaro. Carbonaro was arrested in July, following the raid at his residence. He is currently awaiting trial in Delaware County for the possession, production and distribution of child pornography.Parker was recently arrested in Ohio and was extradited to Pennsylvania, where bail was set at million, pending a preliminary hearing on October 26. 1926
