She thought the drawings could change her moods, and also help her neighbors."I realized that I'm probably not the only person feeling that way, and if I can encourage people to just smile or get outside and walk, check out what I'm doing, it would be good for everyone," she says.Even though recent rain has washed away most of the drawings already, Lori says she'll replace them with new ones. (KGTV) — A 27-acre parcel in Black Mountain Ranch once planned to be the site of a new middle school could instead turn into a Costco development.The Poway Unified School District board voted 4-0 on Thursday to pursue a long-term lease with Costco to transform the site into a mixed-use retail, restaurant, and housing complex, plus a warehouse. PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- A poor raccoon is expected to be OK after it got its head stuck in a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli. Officers with Charlotte County Animal Control in Florida took the raccoon to the Peace River Wildlife Center for help Monday after a resident found the animal in her backyard.The juvenile raccoon needed to be sedated so the can could be carefully clipped away and pulled off. He only had minor injuries. 444
