(KGTV) — Police in the South Bay area searching for a missing man who may have walked away from an assisted living home.David Ennis, 90, is believed to have walked away from the home on G Street just before 7 a.m. Friday, according to Chula Vista Police. Ennis suffers from dementia and is not familiar with the area, police added. Because of that and the cold weather, Ennis is considered at-risk.The man is described as Caucasian, six-feet tall, clean shaven, and with balding gray hair. He is known to walk with a cane, hunched-over. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hat, navy blue jacket, and gray sweatpants. Two pilots on different aircraft recently reported seeing unidentified flying objects in the airspace near them.A commercial pilot for American Airlines, who was flying a passenger jet Feb. 24 over Arizona, reported to Albuquerque Center air traffic control between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. local time that an object seen?flying at 40,000 feet was unidentifiable and had a big reflection, according to The Huffington Post. Audio of the conversation between the pilot and?air traffic control was released by the Federal Aviation Administration to a website called The Drive, a product of Time Inc. In it, the jet's pilot is heard saying the UFO was flying the opposite direction of the airplane at least 2,000 to 3,000 feet above the plane.The FAA did not have knowledge of anything expected to fly above the jet when the UFO incident occurred.The pilot was asked whether he thought it was a Google balloon, and he said, "doubtful," The Drive's military and aviation correspondent reported.Another commercial pilot flying nearby at the same time also reported seeing an unidentifiable object, just after the first pilot's report. (KGTV) - A North San Diego County resident resorted to Wild West measures after he was the victim of a crime, creating "Wanted: Dead or Alive" posters to find a thief.The San Diego Sheriff’s Office says approximately ,800 worth of items ranging from power tools to a mountain bike were stolen from a home on Valley Center Road on February 16.SDSO was working the case when the homeowner told deputies he had hung posters with the suspect’s image bearing ‘wanted dead or alive’ and the station’s number around town.“We don’t encourage vigilantism,” said Sgt. Russell Ryan.Ryan says SDSO asked the man to remove the posters but the man claimed he was exercising his first amendment rights.SDSO’s Valley Center substation took to Twitter to clarify they were, in fact, looking for the suspect but there was not a death warrant for alleged thief.Deputies were able identify the suspect as 23-year-old Jose Martinez, thanks to the homeowner's surveillance video. Martinez was taken into custody on Wednesday.Martinez is currently being held at the Vista Detention Facility on several burglary-related charges and is believed to be related to other recent thefts, according to SDSO.Sgt. Two people were killed and one "badly injured" in a knife attack Thursday morning in Trappes, a suburb west of Paris, according to France's National Police.The attacker was also killed, police said."After the attack, he ran into a house to hide. He left shortly afterward and threatened police before being neutralized," police said.Authorities have not yet given an indication of motive for the attack.
