SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- One of the most anticipated panels of Comic-Con Day 2 was "The Walking Dead" Panel. Fans left Hall H with several surprises for the upcoming season. If you're a Comic-Con mega fan, patience is a vital part of the experience. Many slept on the grassy courtyard for hours, just to claim a seat inside the coveted Hall H. Fans say they can't get enough. "I've been a fan since the first season came out," Superfan, Marvin Calderon said. "I'm also a fan of the comic books."Calderon showed us his right arm. It is entirely covered with "The Walking Dead" themed tattoos, proving to us, his extreme loyalty to the show.Friday's panel featured the showrunner, Angela Kang, her executive producers, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero, as well as cast members Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Avi Nash, Cooper Andrews, Ryan Hurst, Nadia Hilker, Eleanor Matsuura, and Cailey Fleming. This was 12-year-old Cailey Fleming's first Comic-Con experience, and she stole the show. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are working to identify a body discovered at a shipyard along San Diego Bay.The body, only described as a white male, was found at Continental Maritime of San Diego shortly before 12 p.m. Saturday. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Only in their second year of operation, Wheels of Change is preparing for a major expansion this year.San Diego teenager, Kevin Barber, and his mom, Carolyn Barber, MD, initially launched the program in 2018 in partnership with Alpha Project.Homeless individuals are paid /hr to clean up trash, traveling together in a van to different job sites. Thanks to new sources of funding, the nonprofit will be able to expand crews from 10 to 20 individuals, serving the community five days a week. "We were able to show the world, hey this works! Let's keep funding it more and let's expand the program," said Kevin. The city committed 0,000 to help fund the program, and they've also raised additional funding privately and from foundations. The Lucky Duck Foundation, Davis Charitable Fund, SDGE, the Danna Foundation, and multiple others, have been financial and/or strategic supporters of Wheels of Change at Alpha Project.Wheels of Change plans to employ over 5,200 homeless individuals in 2019, up from 375 their first year. 1057

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police on the campus of San Diego State University are hoping surveillance photos will lead to an arrest in a recent burglary. The pictures are clear. They show two men walking in the hallway of a campus building. Another photo shows them at a different angle. Police aren't releasing details about the burglary, but they say right now, there is no threat to campus. This is the latest in a series of crimes on or near campus. Last Wednesday night around 8:30, two men armed with guns robbed two people as they sat in their car. It happened in the north alley off of 55th and Montezuma. Taylor Langpap and her roommate, Jessica Ancar, walk the alley all the time to get to their apartment. "I was a little uneasy that it was just really close to my apartment, but I wasn't really surprised cause stuff like that happens all the time here," said Jessica. In the fall, there was a string or robberies where students had their cellphones stolen. In another case, a man was charged with ripping off students who were trying to sell things on the App Offer Up. Campus police aren't saying if the men in the surveillance photos are wanted in any other crimes, but students say they are always taking precautions, especially when walking after dark. "I make sure to call one of my family members or a friend, and then if I am not on the phone with someone, I try to keep very aware of my surroundings. They have blue lights around campus, you just have to make sure where those are so you can get where you are going safely," said Alexandra Howder. 1570
