President Donald Trump is asking the Supreme Court to allow him to block critics from his personal Twitter account. The administration said in a high-court filing Thursday that Trump’s @realdonaldtrump account with more than 85 million followers is his personal property and blocking people from it is akin to elected officials who refuse to allow their opponents' yard signs on their front lawns. “President Trump’s ability to use the features of his personal Twitter account, including the blocking function, are independent of his presidential office,” acting Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall wrote in urging the justices to review the case.The federal appeals court in New York ruled last year that Trump uses the account to make daily pronouncements and observations that are overwhelmingly official in nature. President Donald Trump on Tuesday again seized on what he called a "terrorist attack" in London to call for tougher anti-terror measures, even though the incident was still in the early stages of investigation."Another terrorist attack in London...These animals are crazy and must be dealt with through toughness and strength!," the US President tweeted.Metropolitan Police in London were investigating the event -- in which a car crashed into security barriers outside of the Houses of Parliament during rush hour Tuesday morning -- as a terrorist incident. President Donald Trump has been nominated a third time for the Nobel Peace Prize, this time by a group of Australian lawyers who praised his role in brokering a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).“What he has done with the Trump Doctrine is that he has decided he would no longer have America involved in endless wars, wars which achieve nothing but the killing of thousands of young Americans and enormous debts imposed on America," Australian legal scholar David Flint told Sky News Australia on Sunday.President Trump was first nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize by a Norwegian Parliament member for his role in the UAE-Israel peace deal early in September. Then, a Swedish Parliament member nominated Trump after he helped secure a deal for normalized economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo.Also this week, former Vice President Joe Biden was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a member of the British Parliament.“When others have resorted to violent solutions, he has argued that the best force is the force of argument,” Chris Bryant told the Evening Standard. “Because guns can stop a heart but well-placed words can change many hearts, and many hearts can change a world.”The Norwegian Nobel Committee begins accepting nominations in September for the following year. (KGTV) -- Residents and businesses in Poway were notified Friday they have clean water after a boil water advisory was issued nearly a week ago.Testing was conducted on Poway’s water supply and samples were sent to be examined by state officials.City officials said the first test on the water, requested by the state, came back clean Thursday night. President Donald Trump once again floated the idea of adding a "Space Force" as a branch of the US military on Tuesday at the White House.Trump's comments came as he presented the Army college football team with the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, annually awarded to the best college football team among Army, Navy and Air Force."You will be part of the five proud branches of the United States Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and the Coast Guard," Trump said, addressing the Army football team. "And we're actually thinking about a sixth, and that would be the Space Force. Does that make sense?" Trump said. "... because we're getting very big in space, both militarily and for other reasons, and we're seriously thinking about the Space Force."Tuesday wasn't the first time Trump has floated the idea of a military branch dedicated for fighting wars in space.
