TUCSON, Arizona — An Arizona high school principal admitted on Facebook he changed the grades of seniors at the school, but claims his supervisor directed him to take that action. The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board of Pueblo High School in Arizona have voted to release a district report on the incident that has been kept confidential.The board released the following report:         The governing board is set to vote Wednesday, March 28 on whether to release a portion of the report by the law firm hired by the district.Pueblo High School principal Auggie Romero has come under fire in recent years over a grade changing scandal.  He's been on the hot seat after a teacher came forward to E.W. Scripps television station KGUN in Tucson — that Romero changed several seniors grades without her consent — a violation of state law. And she provided proof — her grade sheets."This is something that has never happened before in my 31 years as a teacher," said Yolanda Sotelo in 2016. Romeo even admitted on Facebook he changed the grades, but claimed his supervisor, Abel Morado, directed him to take that action. KGUN obtained a scathing memo written by Morado, who stated that wasn't the case. He stated that he had reminded Romero he needed to get the teacher to change grades and Romero's "failure to comply with the very simple directive caused all of the controversy." The memo also reveals the Deconcini law firm investigated the allegations and found Romero "did change the student's grades." KGUN requested the document through a public records request, but the district declined citing attorney-client privilege. Now the board is voting on whether to release the findings "concerning potential violations of the law: improper grade-changing, improper promotion, and discrimination.  1961

Universal Orlando has updated its face mask policy after reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic.When the Florida theme park reopened on June 3, the resort said guests could remove their masks while eating and drinking.But this week, the park updated its mask policy saying guests must be "actively eating or drinking" and socially distance themselves before removing their masks."Guests must wear face coverings at all times, unless they are actively eating or drinking, and they must also be socially distanced from other travel parties while consuming their food or beverage," the policy states. "Inside restaurants, we have arranged tables and seating so that guests can safely remove their face coverings while enjoying their dining experience."The park stated that the face coverings must cover your mouth and nose and be at least two layers thick.The resort says the following are not permitted at Universal Orlando:Face coverings with exhalation valvesFace coverings that are not secured with ear loops or secured around your headFace coverings that include mesh material or holes of any kindCostume masks or veils, per our costume guidelinesThe masks must also fit under your chin securely and fit against the side of your face snug. 1250

UPDATE: San Diego Police reported Monday morning that Rafol was safe and with his family.ALLIED GARDENS (CNS) - San Diego police were today asking the public for help locating a man known to have a mental condition who was reported missing.Benjamin Rafol, 26, was last seen at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday when he left on foot from the Verge apartment complex at 6850 Mission Gorge Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.Rafol has mental issues including schizophrenia and psychosis, said SDPD Lt. Dan Sullivan.Rafol is not from the area and does not have a cell phone or a car.He is described as a Filipino male, 5 feet-8 inches tall and 160 pounds. (KGTV) - The Santee School District recently sent robocalls to parents with children at Cajon Park Elementary, alerting them to a possible child luring incident.A mother from the school detailed an incident on her Facebook page, reporting her 11-year-old son was approached by a couple at Woodglen Vista Park asking him to help catch their dogs.The woman then asked the boy to go to the dog park with them. The boy ran home and told his mother.The woman was described as in her 40s with blonde hair. The man is described as 60 years old with gray hair.The San Diego Sheriff's Department has not received any reports on the mother's post.Cajon Park Elementary officials told 10News they plan to follow up with the Sheriff's Department Wednesday morning. 840
