SARASOTA, Fla. — Thousands gave thanks to a veteran for his service to our country Tuesday afternoon.Edward Karl Pearson of Naples died August 31 at the age of 80.The funeral home coordinating services says Pearson passed away with no immediate family to attend his funeral.
