As the security situations in the region and the international arena are undergoing profound changes, China and Russia have made fruitful achievements in such fields as anti-terrorism, law enforcement and security, they said.

"I think it's good to build these relationships, these lines of communications, but you have to be patient and keep expectations modest," he said.
The Chinese government expects companies with competitive advantage to cooperate with western companies to develop the third-party market, so as to realize mutual benefit and win-win, he said.
Zhang is the third senior Chinese leader to visit Russia in just over one month, following Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit in May and top Chinese legislator Zhang Dejiang's visit earlier this month.
