INDIANAPOLIS -- A Bloomington, Indiana auto dealership was told to stop selling cars after the Indiana Secretary of State's Office discovered the business is not licensed in the state. The secretary of state's office issued a cease and desist Friday to H Auto for selling cars without a license and illegally issuing interim license plates.H Auto has been advertising in English and Chinese and allegedly may have been targeting Chinese students at Indiana University, according to the secretary of state. The advertisements say to make an appointment because H Auto does business by appointment only, but typically most dealerships do walk-in business.Some customers of H Auto allege that they were sold cars with fake New Jersey license plates.Others allege the auto dealer took their money but they never got a title for the vehicle they purchased.The secretary of state's office and Bloomington police are currently investigating.If you believe you may have been victimized by H Auto, call the secretary of state's office at 317-234-7190 1074

It's the end of an era: Toys "R" Us is closing all its US stores.That's sad news for the employees, kids and nostalgic adults, but could provide bargain hunters the opportunity to snag a deal.The?news of the 735 store closures means shoppers can expect discounts as the retailer liquidates. A company spokesperson said Thursday the timeline of sales has yet to be determined.But Chuck Tatelbaum, a director with Tripp Scott, a Florida law firm, expects the discounts to happen pretty quickly."I think that the sales will run for up to 60 days, and the closures will have taken place by then," he said. "The rent obligation is just so high."Depending on the timeline, the sales could be modest at first. The biggest discounts will come later."They will start discounting more and more as time goes on," said Ray Wimer, assistant professor of retail practice Syracuse. "But it's a double-edged sword: The item you might want might not be there anymore, but the better deals come later in the process."He expects the discounts to start around 20-30%, but eventually climb to 75-80% off. Any purchases made during the store closing process are final sale, according to the company.While customers haven't been flocking to the retailer recently, Wimer said the closing news could spur more foot traffic."We will likely see an outpouring from folks remembering being at Toys "R" Us. INDIANAPOLIS -- A body found by a group cleaning up their neighborhood on Indianapolis' northeast side over the weekend has been identified as an Indy woman reported missing back in December. The Marion County Coroner identified the body as Jaimie Beasley, 32, during an autopsy Monday morning. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene around 11 a.m. Witnesses on the scene say a group was doing a neighborhood cleanup when one of the volunteers discovered what appeared to be a human body partially covered near the creek. Beasley was seen on December 15, 2017. She has a 9-year-old daughter. Family members said?back in January that they feared something bad had happened to her when she didn't return home. Beasley's death remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.  906
