An undocumented immigrant was shot and killed Wednesday by a US Customs and Border Protection officer in Rio Bravo, Texas, according to a CBP news release.A Border Patrol agent responded to a report of illegal activity near a culvert and discovered a group of undocumented immigrants, the agency said.The agent tried to apprehend the group but he came under attack by multiple people using blunt objects. An autopsy performed on Kirkersville, Ohio police chief James Hughes Jr. revealed that the chief died of an accidental drug overdose from fentanyl, which he allegedly obtained from the police's evidence room, the Newark Advocate reported. Hughes died on May 25 after he was found unresponsive in his bathroom. An investigation conducted by police in nearby Reynoldsburg, Ohio alleged that Hughes took the drugs from the police evidence room as part of evidence involving other cases. The autopsy was performed by the Franklin County Coroner's Office in Columbus. Hughes was named chief of police on March 13, despite a checkered record, according to the Advocate. The Advocate reported that Hughes was found guilty of disorderly conduct in 2013 when Hughes allegedly yelled racial slurs at fast food employees. Investigators in Reynoldsburg said that from this point, the Ohio Attorney's General Office should handle the investigation.  999

They lay a base layer, several feet deep, below any trash. It's made up of materials like clay, minerals, and charcoal, which help make sure nothing seeps into the ground or water. Trash is strategically layered on top and then buried to help seal it off.In some cases, the sealed pile is covered in cement or asphalt and developed in homes or businesses. But those sealed-off piles still give off greenhouse gas emissions and fumes that can harm the environment and peoples' health.Some companies use technology to reduce emissions by capturing them and turning them into renewable energies.
