Former NBA player Mike Bibby is facing sexual abuse allegations from a teacher at the Arizona school where Bibby coaches the boy's basketball team.Phoenix police said Monday that they were recently made aware of allegations involving staff at Shadow Mountain High School."As of now, the investigation is ongoing and no suspect has been named, nor any charges recommended," Phoenix police said. The alleged victim filed a restraining order against Bibby on February 22, 2019, in reference to an incident that happened on February 22, 2017.In the paperwork, the teacher says she was outside with several coworkers when Bibby pointed at her from his car and asked her to come talk. When she approached the car, Bibby allegedly got out and picked her up, forcing her into the vehicle on her back. The woman says Bibby smelled of alcohol as he touched her inappropriately and said sexually explicit things to her.The alleged victim says she managed to get out of the car, but Bibby followed her toward the school, and once again grabbed her and touched her inappropriately. The woman reported that she told Bibby to stop several times before she was able to get away and go into a private room.The victim says days after the incident, Bibby asked her to tell the athletic director of the school that everything was ok between the two of them. She says she did tell the AD that in 2017, before filing the restraining order this week.Bibby has been ruled ineligible as a volunteer coach while police and the district investigate, according to a district spokesperson.Paradise Valley Unified School District released a statement, saying: At PVSchools, our first priority is always the safety and well-being of our staff and students. Meth is the bigger killer, a new government report shows.Nationwide, most deaths still involve opioid drugs like fentanyl and heroin. But in 2017, the stimulant meth was the drug most frequently involved in deaths in four regions that include 19 states west of the Mississippi.The report released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the agency’s first geographic breakdown of deaths by drug. It’s based on 2017 figures when there were more than 70,000 overdose deaths in the U.S., two-thirds of them involving opioids.Fentanyl was involved in 39% of the deaths that year, followed by heroin, 23%, and cocaine, 21%. Those drugs top the list in the eastern part of the country.Methamphetamine was No. 4 nationwide, cited in 13% of overdose deaths. But in the four western regions, it was No. 1, at 21% to 38%. 964

House Democrats, along with four Republicans and the only independent member of Congress, voted to condemn President Donald Trump's comments telling four progressive Democrats to "go back" to their home countries. The resolution was approved by a 240-187 margin. The Republicans breaking from party ranks were Will Heard of Texas, Fred Upton of Michigan, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Susan Brooks of Indiana. Independent Rep.
