INDIANAPOLIS -- A Bloomington, Indiana auto dealership was told to stop selling cars after the Indiana Secretary of State's Office discovered the business is not licensed in the state. The secretary of state's office issued a cease and desist Friday to H Auto for selling cars without a license and illegally issuing interim license plates.H Auto has been advertising in English and Chinese and allegedly may have been targeting Chinese students at Indiana University, according to the secretary of state. The advertisements say to make an appointment because H Auto does business by appointment only, but typically most dealerships do walk-in business.Some customers of H Auto allege that they were sold cars with fake New Jersey license plates.Others allege the auto dealer took their money but they never got a title for the vehicle they purchased.The secretary of state's office and Bloomington police are currently investigating.If you believe you may have been victimized by H Auto, call the secretary of state's office at 317-234-7190 1074

INDIANAPOLIS -- A Cincinnati pastor will face trial by a council of church leaders in Indianapolis on Friday to determine whether his marriage to a man makes him unfit to be a United Methodist minister.Rev. David Meredith has served as the pastor of the Clifton United Methodist Church in Cincinnati as an openly gay man since 2012. More than a decade prior, in October 1998, the church became a so-called “reconciling congregation” that welcomes “all persons, regardless of sexual orientation,” according to its website.In 2016, though, Meredith’s sexual orientation became an issue for some members of his church after he married his long-time partner, Jim Schlachter.Rev. INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) -- Police say two women climbed in the drive-thru window at an Indianapolis McDonald's and assaulted an employee because they didn't get their chicken McNuggets. Police were called to the restaurant just after 3 a.m. local time Friday morning.The manager told police he was working the drive-thru window when two women pulled up complaining they did not receive their chicken McNuggets. When the manager told the women they didn't order McNuggets or pay for them, even printing out a receipt to show them, the pair tried to order some at the window. The manager told the women they would have to drive back around and order at the signboard and said, "Have a nice day," before turning his back on them to fill other customer orders, according to police. The women then began pounding on the window and honking their car horn, claiming they had been disrespected. In its latest COVID-19 and cruise ship travel update, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends "all people" should avoid traveling on a cruise ship and river cruises worldwide.The agency has raised the level from three to four, which means it's a high risk of getting the coronavirus.On Oct. 30, the agency issued a level three, which urged cruise ships to carry at least 250 passengers in waters subject to U.S. jurisdiction.The new guidance says passengers should get tested three to five days after their trip and stay home for seven days, even if you test negative.If you decide to not get tested, passengers should stay home for 14 days. 667

IONIA, Mich. (WXMI) — An 11-year-old girl in Ionia is spreading Christmas cheer and collecting gifts to give to children with long-term hospital stays.Over the past week, hundreds of boxes have been stacking up in 11 year-old Mchalie Walter’s garage.“The first time we got a ton of packages it made me really happy,” Mchalie said.Mchalie is overjoyed and she won’t even be the one opening the presents.RELATED: East County family's Santa treehouse helps families in needMchalie is collecting them for kids at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.
