Hurricane Willa has made landfall near Isla Del Bosque, Sinaloa, on the western coast of Mexico, approximately 50 miles south of Mazatlán.The storm will quickly weaken over the next 24 hours as it makes its way across the Sierra Madre range and becomes a rainmaker for northern Mexico and Texas on Wednesday.When Willa made landfall Tuesday evening, it had top winds of 120 MPH. (KGTV) - A helicopter crew based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar landed safely in Imperial Thursday after a fire broke out, military officials reported.The CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 465, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing was on a routine training mission at 1 p.m. when the flames broke out, according to a 3rd MAW spokesman.The helicopter landed safely at the Imperial County Airport.
