(AP) — California Democratic Party Chairman Eric Bauman was accused of inappropriate behavior on a campaign bus days before the Nov. 6 election, a Democratic official said Tuesday, a day after Bauman took a leave of absence.Bauman was among those aboard a bus during a statewide get-out-the-vote tour. Rockford Police Chief Dan O'Shea says a 37-year-old white male suspect is in custody after the shooting Saturday night at Don Carter Lanes. Police were not seeking any other suspects. (AP) — A pilot ejected moments before an F-16 fighter jet crashed Thursday into a warehouse just outside March Air Reserve Base in California, military officials said.The pilot was not hurt, and there were no immediate reports of injuries on the ground, said Maj. Perry Covington, director of public affairs at the base. The cause of the crash was under investigation.Interstate 215, which runs between the base and the warehouse, was closed in both directions, backing up rush-hour traffic for miles.Television news showed a large hole in the roof and sprinklers on inside the building about 65 miles east of Los Angeles.Cellphone photos and video from inside showed what appeared to be the tail of the plane buried in twisted metal and piles of cardboard boxes.Daniel Gallegos, a warehouse worker, said he's used to hearing the sound of planes coming and going, but the noise just before the crash was deafening."Next thing I know I just hear this explosion and turn around to the back of the building, and I just seen a burst of flames and just the ceiling started falling through every part of the building," he told KABC-TV . RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Authorities are searching for a person of interest following a shooting at a St. Louis area mall that left one person dead and another injured Wednesday.The St. Louis County Police Department said on Twitter that the two people were shot at the St. Louis Galleria Mall in Richmond Heights shortly before 12:34 p.m. CT.When officers arrived at the scene, police say they located the adult male victims. One victim, a man in his early 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other was transported to an area hospital for life-saving treatment.The department said it does not consider the shooting an active shooter incident.Police believe two groups of people got into some sort of dispute inside the mall and the altercation escalated into a shooting.
