ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — A Los Angeles police detective has been charged with secretly videotaping dozens of men inside a restroom at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.The Anaheim city attorney's office says 42-year-old Ryan Caplette was charged Friday with 75 misdemeanor counts.Prosecutors allege that Caplette was the man seen videotaping inside a stadium bathroom on June 8. He was off-duty at the time. Caplette was released after being placed under a citizen's arrest.Prosecutors allege that Caplette videotaped at least 37 people that day.Caplette is charged with disorderly conduct that includes peeping with intent to invade privacy, secretly videotaping in a restroom and loitering.Caplette couldn't immediately be reached for comment. He has a court appearance scheduled for July 22.An LAPD spokesman says Caplette has been assigned to paid home duty. 859

An 8-year-old boy in Polk County, Florida caught an 11-foot, 3-inch gator late last month. It was his first real catch despite gator hunting several times with his dad.Grayson Chantley caught the gator on Lake Kissimmee late last month. He says his dad woke him up around midnight to go hunting. "Whenever they're big, I'm just like I want to get this gator," said Chantley.His dad caught it all on tape. Video shows the moment he landed the gator. Photos show the gator's head is almost the size of the 8-year-old. Chantley also showed off his catch to his older brother."I'm just shocked," added Chantley.Florida's state record for the largest gator caught happened in 2010 in Brevard County. The gator was 14 feet 3.5 inches, according to state wildlife officials.Grayson says he's still amazed."It teaches him how to survive. But some phone testers claim the new iPhone XS and larger XS Max are easier to break if they are dropped.  A new test from the electronics insurance company SquareTrade is raising questions about that glass and the durability of the new phones.In SquareTrade's drop from 6 feet, (which the insurance company claims simulate the height it would fall from if it slipped while you were talking) the XS screen shattered, resulting in loose and separated glass.A tumble test resulted in hairline cracks and scratches.SquareTrade calls the iPhone XS "high risk" for breakage, much higher than the older iPhone 7's and 8's, which did not have edge-to-edge glass.Others question SquareTrade resultsHowever, other reviewers say these tests may not be that realistic for most people.Apple says the new XS has "the most durable glass ever built into a smartphone."Other testers say unless you are in the NBA, most people don't drop their phones from a 6 foot height.
