Days before Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, a Democratic senator urged the FBI to reach out to a witness who had key information about alleged misconduct by the nominee while at Yale, according to a letter obtained by CNN.The letter comes as The New York Times reported over the weekend that the Times had interviewed more individuals who had corroborated the allegation of Deborah Ramirez, a Yale classmate who alleged Kavanaugh had exposed himself to her at a dorm room party. The Times also reported that there was another previously undisclosed allegation raised by Max Stier, a Yale classmate who told the Times that he had witnessed Kavanaugh engage in another, similar incident.CNN is not reporting any details of the accusation and has not independently corroborated the account. The Times on Sunday evening published an Editor's Note to its original story saying the female victim declined to be interviewed, and her friends told the authors she does not recall the incident.In a letter dated October 2, 2018, Sen. Chris Coons, a Democrat from Delaware, sent a letter to the FBI requesting that the agency talk to individuals that had more information about Kavanaugh. Specifically, Coons suggested the FBI talk to Stier. It's unclear from the letter exactly what information Stier had, but Coons suggests the FBI talk to him. Stier's name in the letter is redacted in the version seen by CNN, but an aide for Coons told CNN that that the name was Stier's. Coons had copied then-Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, and its top Democrat, Sen. The rapper, actor and co-founder of the eco-friendly company JUST Water has partnered with a local Flint church to deploy a mobile water treatment system. The system is called "The Water Box" and it filters out lead and additional contaminants in water, according to a press release. Flint's water crisis began in April 2014 after the city's water source was switched from the Detroit River to the Flint River, which resulted in city-wide lead contamination of public drinking water. DENVER — It was a dream wedding for Kacie and Troy Sanford, two Texans who tied the knot Friday in beautiful Berthoud, Colorado. Kacie's best friend, photographer Lenzi Holmes, flew up from Fort Worth, Texas, to photograph the event, shooting countless pictures she put on SD cards inside a case reminiscent of those old CD cases you would flip open to find what you were looking for. On Saturday, Holmes and her husband checked out of the Hilton Denver City Center hotel, then drove through Boulder and into the mountains to sightsee before flying back to Texas. At Denver International Airport, Holmes realized her SD case was gone. She grabbed a cab and frantically tried to retrace her steps. "I had a severe panic attack," she said. "I went to our car rental place, I went to the last place we filled up with gas, and dug through the trash there; I went back to the hotel."The pictures were nowhere to be found, and Holmes told KMGH she could barely find the strength to call the couple and tell them the news. When she did, she was stunned by Kacie's response."I told her I loved her. I love her and who she is and I wouldn't want anyone else there on my day," Kacie said. "We have one beautiful shot that we will keep forever, and if we cherish that one, we cherish that one... and it's OK."Holmes posted a plea on social media, offering a ,000 reward for the case. Now, the company is making changes.On Thursday, Charter Communications made changes to its policies to help employees during crisis. The company says it will now let employees they believe "can remain productive outside the office without endangering our obligation to provide critical services" work remotely. Charter says employees will receive an additional three weeks of paid time off to be used for "any COVID-19-related personal need."The company also said in a statement, it is working on "increased social distancing" plans in its call centers and operations facilities.Last week, Denver-based systems engineer Nick Wheeler resigned from Charter over the company not letting him work remotely. "The science of social distancing is real. We have the complete ability to our jobs from home,” he wrote in an email to hundreds of people at Charter. Wheeler says Charter wouldn't let employees work from home.
