(KGTV) - A Coronado police officer and four teens were injured after a suspected drunk driver crashed into a parked car Friday.Coronado Police received a report of a possible drunk driver at about 9:30 p.m. An officer in the area located the vehicle on Third Street and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver, however, made an abrupt turn onto E Ave. and crashed into a parked vehicle, police said.Following the crash, several juveniles ran from the vehicle. The responding officer chased after the teenagers and found two nearby. They were brought to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.Two more passengers were found hiding near 4th St. and Alameda Blvd. They were also taken to a nearby hospital for injuries received in the crash, police said.Coronado Police said an officer was also injured responding to the incident.Police said several containers of beer, hard alcohol, and spray paint were found inside the vehicle. 984

As demonstrators marched near the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey on Sunday, video posted online showed him wielding a long-barreled gun and her with a small handgun. The McCloskeys and the trustees of Portland Place are involved in a legal dispute over a small piece of property. However, one self-proclaimed diet guru believes shows like the "The Great American Baking Show" should come with a warning that it advocates obesity.Do cooking shows really have an effect on how much watchers end up consuming? Eight in 10 adults watch cooking shows, according to research by MarketingCharts.com.    Many of those cooking shows don’t necessarily promote healthy eating. But Dr. Kevin Masters, a professor of psychology at University of Colorado Denver, says you can’t correlate obesity to cooking shows.“The overweight and obesity issue in this country is around--depending on your numbers-- is 60 to 70 percent of the population,” says Masters. “And you’re talking about a very small population even watch these shows, much less we could say are influenced by them.”   However, Marketing Charts research also found that 57 percent of those who watch these cooking shows purchase food as a direct result of something they saw on the show.   "Some people will plant a thought that they weren't having before,” Dr. Masters explains. “Will it actually lead to action in a particular instance?
