WASHINGTON — Vandalism at four downtown Washington churches after rallies in support of President Donald Trump is exposing rifts among people of faith as the nation confronts bitter post-election political divisions. The houses of worship that were vandalized included two historically Black churches where people ripped down Black Lives Matter banners. Video posted to social media showed one banner being burned, defacement that police say is being investigated as possible hate crimes. Rev. Dr. Ianther Mills, the senior pastor at Asbury United Methodist Church, compared the vandalism of the banners to a cross burning in a statement released on Sunday. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Detectives called off a suspect search in Vista after it was discovered that a juvenile accidentally shot himself in the leg Monday afternoon. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department was called to the 100 block of Paseo Marguerita in Vista around 3:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a male juvenile with a gunshot wound. While responding, deputies received information about possible suspects. Authorities found the juvenile near a small pond with a gunshot wound to the leg. Meanwhile, a neighboring school was given an order to lock down. After an extensive search for the suspects, deputies broke down a perimeter set up around the area. The boy was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. After investigating, detectives learned that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted and "appeared to be accidental." The department said it's no longer looking for any suspects. 907

Walmart will be open an hour later at most locations across the US starting November 14. The retailer curtailed shopping hours at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, and has been slowly expanding hours since then.Currently, most Walmart locations are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., but on November 14, locations will remain open until 11 p.m., unless otherwise mandated by local government restrictions.Walmart also said that locations will continue operating a special shopping hour every Tuesday for customers 60 and older and those most vulnerable, starting one hour before store opening.The announcement comes as stores prepare for the busy holiday shopping season.
