(KGTV) — Last week, police arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at an Escondido movie theater that left one man injured in June.The 20-year-old suspect, whose name is being withheld to protect the investigation, was arrested on July 5, Escondido Police said in a release Wednesday. Police then executed a search warrant at the Escondido resident's home.The June 28 shooting occurred at about 8:45 p.m. outside the Regal Cinema on West Valley Parkway. (KGTV) – The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting in Fallbrook that left a person dead late Thursday night.The shooting was reported at around 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of South Vine Street.Responding deputies arrived to find a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The shooting victim, who was not identified, was declared dead at the scene.Investigators are trying to determine the events that led up to the shooting.A description of the suspected shooter was not immediately available. (KGTV) — CHP officers are searching for the driver who hit a motorcyclist in the North County on Friday and fled the scene.At about 6:30 a.m., a 44-year-old man was riding a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle on southbound Interstate 15 north of State Route 78. The driver of a Kia Soul changed lanes, hitting the motorcyclist, and ejecting him from the bike and into the center divider, CHP says.After the collision, the Kia avoided hitting the rider but fled the scene.The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with major injuries that are considered non-life threatening.The Kia Soul SUV is described as being a 2014 year model or newer and brown in color.
