LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky’s attorney general has received a long-awaited ballistics report in the police shooting of Breonna Taylor. Attorney General Daniel Cameron tweeted Sunday that there is additional analysis needed now that the report is in his hands. He says there will be no announcement on the investigation this week. Cameron has indicated the ballistics report has slowed the investigation of Taylor’s death by police on March 13. Taylor was shot in her home by police as they served a no-knock narcotics warrant on her home. LOUISVILLE, Colo. – A woman in Louisville, Colordao died after she was struck by a falling tree branch during Tuesday’s windstorm, a spokesperson for the police department said Wednesday, making her death the first in the state caused by the near-hurricane winds.The woman, who has not been identified, stopped to rest under a tree while she was moving into an apartment in the area of Walnut Street and Garfield Avenue at around 2 p.m.The spokesperson said that’s when a large branch broke off due to the winds and struck her in the head.She was taken to a hospital, but it’s not clear when the woman died as the police department only learned of her passing on Wednesday.The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy, but even though foul play is not suspected, detectives will be in attendance.The Boulder Daily Camera reports there were 89 mph wind gusts in Louisville, the highest recorded in Boulder County on Tuesday. 962

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky attorney general's office says two long-rifle shell casings were found in and near Breonna Taylor's apartment after a police drug raid that left her dead. It's the first time these specific shell casings have been mentioned by authorities investigating Taylor's death in March. One was found inside and the other outside Taylor's apartment. The notice of the two shell casings was filed in former Officer Brett Hankison's wanton endangerment case. According to the Associated Press, the one-page court filing does not say why the shell casings would be favorable to Hankison’s defense.Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron didn't mention the long-rifle casings at a September news conference announcing the indictment against Hankison, the AP reported.Another officer at Taylor's apartment that night was Sgt.
