Police arrested a limousine company owner's son Wednesday in connection with the weekend crash in Schoharie that killed 20 people, according to the company's lawyer.Nauman Hussain, whose father, Shahed, owns Prestige Limousine Chauffeur Service, was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 787, according to New York State Police. Nauman Hussain is an "operator" for Prestige, police said.Charges are pending for Nauman Hussain, the state police said.Officer Kerra Burns, a state police spokeswoman, declined to say whether the arrest was related to the crash, but Lee Kindlon, who is representing Prestige, told CNN it was connected to the Saturday accident.The arrest came as state officials and Kindlon offered conflicting accounts on whether the stretch Ford Excursion should have been on New York's roads when it crashed in Schoharie, killing 20 people.Gov. Passengers with peanut and tree-nut allergies will soon have the option to board American Airlines flights early to wipe down seating areas of potential allergens.The new policy goes into effect December 12 as flight-service manuals are updated."American Airlines customers with nut allergies who would like to board our flights early to wipe down surfaces may ask to do so at the gate," said American Airlines spokeswoman Michelle Mohr. The policy was first reported by Bloomberg.Passengers are free to wipe down their seating areas of potential allergens at any time, but the new policy gives extra consideration to concerned allergy sufferers."I certainly understand the deep, deep concern people have, especially parents with young children," Mohr said. Mohr herself suffers from a severe nut allergy and carries an EpiPen.The airline encourages passengers to take all necessary medical precautions before flying, she said.American Airlines hasn't served peanuts in years, but it does serve a combination of warm mixed nuts to First and Business class passengers on trans-oceanic flights, Mohr said. That mixture does not contain peanuts.But the airline cannot guarantee that customers won't be exposed to peanuts or tree nuts on any flight as passengers may bring their own snacks aboard or transfer nut residue from other places.The new policy was included in a filing with the U.S. Transportation Department on November 6. PALA INDIAN RESERVATION, Calif. (KGTV) --A woman was arrested after reportedly attacking three elderly victims with a baseball bat on the Pala Indian Reservation on Saturday.According to The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the three victims were visiting from Los Angeles and broke down on the side of Pala Mission Road after visiting the nearby casino.Deputies say all three victims are Cambodian and do not speak English. While on the side of the road the suspect, identified as Michelle Cagey Limon, 32, approached their vehicle and began striking it with a bat.When the two men inside the car got out, Limon hit one of them with the bat and punched the other in the face. The men ran away, leaving a female victim to take shelter inside the car.Deputies say the suspect then smashed out all the windows before also fleeing the scene. All three victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Limon is being charged with three counts of elder abuse, assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. During her arrest, deputies found a small drug lab inside the home, resulting in the arrest of Matthew Geyer, 37, on drug charges. 1164

PARK COUNTY, Colo. — A California church leader was identified as a man found dead off Guanella Pass, Colorado, in 1974, officials announced on Tuesday.Anthony John Armbrust, who led a metaphysical church and was also an aeronautical engineer, was 45 when he and his wife went missing, according to David Kintz, the Park County coroner.Kintz said Armbrust's death was likely a suicide. His remains were first discovered in February 1974, but the case went cold.After identifying Armbrust through forensic genetic genealogy, investigators learned that Armbrust had been suffering from a terminal illness and that he and his wife, Renee, had moved from the San Diego, Calif., area to Golden, Colorado, near Denver.Armbrust then sent his church members a letter, asking them to come collect he and his wife's belongings from their Golden apartment. The couple was not seen again.Renee Armbrust's remains have not been found.Kintz said Anthony Armbrust died from multiple blunt force injuries, likely from an intentional jump or from a fall while climbing to make a jump.Armbrust's remains were found off Guanella Pass near Grant in an area with steep, treacherous terrain, Kintz said.Kintz's office began using forensic genealogy in the case in 2019 and contacted the DNA Doe Project, a group that works to identify unidentified people through DNA research.The investigators eventually traced DNA from Armbrust's remains to a relative, who helped them make a final identification.This story originally reported by Ryan Osborne on TheDenverChannel.com. 1556
