An autopsy performed on Kirkersville, Ohio police chief James Hughes Jr. revealed that the chief died of an accidental drug overdose from fentanyl, which he allegedly obtained from the police's evidence room, the Newark Advocate reported. Hughes died on May 25 after he was found unresponsive in his bathroom. An investigation conducted by police in nearby Reynoldsburg, Ohio alleged that Hughes took the drugs from the police evidence room as part of evidence involving other cases. The autopsy was performed by the Franklin County Coroner's Office in Columbus. Hughes was named chief of police on March 13, despite a checkered record, according to the Advocate. The Advocate reported that Hughes was found guilty of disorderly conduct in 2013 when Hughes allegedly yelled racial slurs at fast food employees. Investigators in Reynoldsburg said that from this point, the Ohio Attorney's General Office should handle the investigation.  999

As Christmas approaches, Target is extending its store hours for holiday shoppers.On its website in its FAQ section, Target said most of its stores would open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. leading up to the holiday.But on Christmas Eve, stores will close at 8 p.m. Target is closed on Christmas Day.The retail store says hours can vary, so check the store locator before you head out.The company also announced that special hours for seniors and at-risk shoppers have also changed.According to Target, stores will open an hour early, but only on Tuesdays. Andrea Constand, the key witness in the retrial of Bill Cosby on indecent assault charges, testified Friday morning that she drank wine and took three blue pills at Cosby's urging in January 2004, then lost consciousness and, sometime later, was "jolted awake" to find the entertainer sexually assaulting her."Were you able to verbalize and tell him to stop?" state prosecutor Kristen Feden asked Constand."No," she replied.
